Onze tours gaan verder dan de gemiddelde tours binnen Rio. Met Experience Rio voel je je een local. Bezoek de minder bekende plaatsen, wandel soms met minder toeristen. Je zult het leven ervaren in plaats van het voorbij te zien vliegen tijdens een snelle generieke tour. Niemand wil het gevoel hebben dat hij maar een paar dollar extra op zak heeft... We wandelen een van Rio's hoogste favela's of Comunidades langs de beroemde berg Two Brothers. Deze wandeling kan bij zonsopgang, middag of zonsondergang zijn. Hier leer je wat een Favela is, ervaar je geweldige uitzichten en een culturele eetervaring. Breng sportschoenen, schoenen of wandelschoenen mee. Wandelen met slippers of sandalen wordt niet aanbevolen en kan de wandeling ongemakkelijk maken!

Best hike wear comfy shoes and athletic wear! Andrew was Best tour guide ever! So nice and showed us the best views!
Highly recommend! Sunrise tour is well worth the early morning wake up. Guide was a young guy from favela so community really benefits from the tour. Motorcycle ride up was a bit intense, if you’re not used to riding fast motorbikes without helmets, suggest you opt for the car option.
About cars, there is no car option, there is only motorcycle taxi, thats it! We provide helmets, but maybe you didn't see or ask as it even says in the message I sent before the tour, haha. That said, these motorcycle taxis are professional, they do this daily and accidents are extremely rare within the Favela. All our guides are local and receive and excellent salary, we give back, run a jujitsu school, and focus on positive impacts. Most tours here give no information about the area, aren't local guides and do not give back. WHEN doing tourism in the Favela, Experience Rio is your best choice!
Great hike with a beautiful view over the city! We did the sunset tour but apparently the sunrise tour is even more beautiful! A decent condition is a requirement, if you are not in shape this tour is probably too exhausting.
You absolutely chose correct! Although the sunrise may be more beautiful, there is no vibe whatsoever. There's nothing like waking up at three in the morning to be surrounded by hundreds of People and most who don't love natureza haha. So personally, I think you made the correct decision. Sunset is the way to go, especially if you're looking for a mix of good vibes and energy. Now if you don't care about that and only want the view than sunrise is best! Just have FOLEGO, because the visual is GREAT!!! Every fatigue on the rise is worth it. At the top, you will have as a reward, a beautiful natural landscape!!!

My group really enjoyed this hike! Our tour guide was friendly, and spoke English and Portuguese which made it easy to communicate. The hike was moderate pace, beautiful scenery with great photo options along the route. Our guide was informative and fun!

It was great! Super friendly guide, felt very safe, took great pictures. Loved it! Was asked to leave slightly earlier (2.30am) which ended up being fantastic as we arrived and got a perfect spot before the crowds arrived.

Ricardo is awesome! Incredible hike with magical views. It rained for a little bit but now it’s just something to laugh at! Would highly recommend this for anyone coming to Rio! You can’t miss it!
Amen! Honestly, the only negative reviews we have on our profile are either due to weather, or major lack of communication on the side of the tourist. So i'm very glad that you had a great time, and thank you for being able to laugh at the funny rain that we got. Talk about 10pm to 2am clear skies, by 4am summer thunderstorm and by 530am a perfect sunrise. 🤣 nothing like an early AM shower.
I had a truly incredible experience! The company had a really fast response time, and all of my questions and concerns were answered before the tour. The tour guide, Ricardo, was FANTASTIC! Easily the best tour guide of the trip, he was friendly, helpful, kind and really knowledgeable about Brazil and life in the favelas. Can’t recommend it enough, especially if you are active and like adventure! Sunrise was super early but so worth it, especially to get prime seats on the mountain top.
