Tung Yee Peng Mangrove Forest Tour per Longtail-boot vanuit Koh Lanta

Bezoek het Tung Yee Peng Village, een klein dorp aan de oostkust van Koh Lanta. De mangroven zijn hier bijna net zo groot als het eiland. Aan de rand van het water verwelkomt een brug je en aan de andere kant loopt een cementpad door de mangroven. Mangrovewortels creëren een rustig en beschermd gebied voor vissen, krabben, oesters, kreeften en garnalen. Het bos is ook een bewakingszone voor reptielen, zoogdieren en vogels en beschermt de kust tegen erosie. Neem een longtailboot om mangrovegebieden te verkennen en de verscheidenheid aan lokale fauna te bekijken - kleurrijke vogels, moddervangers, vioolkrabben. Stop bij het apenpunt. Je kunt de apen zien en ze zien zwemmen en duiken.

We had decided on the long tail because we wanted to do something with our junior 5 years. In retrospect, it was the right decision to take the long tail and not the canoes. We could relax in the boat and enjoy the mangroves. In the temperatures we didn't want to expose our little one to the blazing sun while canoeing. There were only 3 of us in Boat and had a kind of personal tour through the mangroves. The highlight was of course the monkeys. 2 pieces were fed and watched by us virtually picked up at their home. Afterwards the two were taken back to their trees as if by taxi and we said goodbye. Afterwards we had fresh fruit and a delicious lunch. For us the perfect trip with child not too long but also not too short.

This was a different and interesting experience. We got to interact with the monkeys and see the Mangrove forest in all its glory. Definitely worth it.

Tour was very good everything fine. Low tide but there are more animals to see. Food also was good. I recommend this tour for half a day
Nice day in the mangrove tour with the local freindly guide Mr.sigh. And good lunch at fish farm restuarant. "Best reccommend"
