Met weelderige jungle, dramatische kliffen en een waterval van 120 meter is deze dagtocht perfect voor natuurliefhebbers, fotografen en iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustige maar avontuurlijke ontsnapping.

Eenmaal aangekomen begint het avontuur! Wandeling naar beneden naar de watervalbasis via een bospad en kleine riviertjes. Het is een matig uitdagende trektocht, maar het uitzicht onderaan is 100% de moeite waard. Je hebt tijd om de watervallen te verkennen, foto's te maken en van dichtbij te genieten van de rauwe schoonheid van de natuur. Maak je geen zorgen, je Gids zal ervoor zorgen dat alles veilig en plezierig is onderweg.
Geniet van een comfortabele rit door het platteland van Oost-Java terwijl we op weg zijn naar Lumajang Regency, de thuisbasis van Tumpak Sewu. Geniet onderweg van het uitzicht op rijstvelden, bergen en rustige dorpjes. Het is een rustige rit die de spanning voor de komende wandeling opbouwt.
We beginnen uw reis met een ochtend pick-up van uw accommodatie in Malang City. Of je nu in een hostel, hotel of guesthouse verblijft, ons team neemt voor aankomst contact met je op om ervoor te zorgen dat alles soepel verloopt. Vergeet niet je wandelschoenen en schone kleren mee te nemen, het kan nat worden!
Na het afdrogen en even uitrusten beginnen we aan de rit terug naar Malang City. Verwacht rond 16.00–17.00 uur aan te komen, net op tijd om te ontspannen, te douchen of uit eten te gaan. De perfecte afsluiting van een verfrissende en onvergetelijke dag in de natuur.

It was an excellent day enjoying nature. The driver came on time, did his job professionally and safe for us, the group was only 5 of us and some more people joined us at the waterfall, guides were nice and took care of us so we had many time at the waterfall, everyone returned happy! Moreover almost the whole day I got to see a marvellous Semeru volcano, what an awesome day!
I had an amazing experience on my Viator tour to Tumpak Sewu. I was travelling solo, but ended up with a great small group of just three people, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The waterfall itself was absolutely breathtaking and definitely lived up to the hype. Our guide, who I believe was named Bagas, was fantastic—he shared interesting insights about the area, took great photos for us, and really made sure we were well looked after throughout the trip. His friendly and attentive approach made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this tour!
Visiting Tumpak Sewu with my partner was romantic and unforgettable. Dramatic waterfalls, light mist, and green cliffs create a magical atmosphere. We decided to do Tumpak Waterfall Tour without the caves so that we could enjoy the amazing scenery at the Waterfalls a bit longer. Our driver Luis picked us up from the hotel and navigated us through chaotic traffic and heavy rain fall back to Malang. His driving skills were amazing and we felt in absolut safe hands on both routes. We definitely would recommend the tour especially if you don’t want an early get up and late drop off. It was one of our most memorable trip of our vacation,
Visiting Tumpak Sewu with my partner was a magical experience. From above, the hundreds of streams form a giant curtain, but from below, the mist and roaring sound of water make it even more dramatic. Slippery paths demand physical strength, so teamwork is essential. Photos online can't capture the full beauty, especially the effect of sunlight through the mist. Prepare shoes and stamina for a safe and enjoyable adventure.
At first you try to stay dry and careful, but after a while you just give up 😅 The water, the mist, everything’s everywhere, so you just go with it and actually enjoy it more that way
At some point you just stop caring about getting a little wet 😅 Once you’re down there, it’s all part of the experience anyway.
The energy down there is just different a mix of excitement, a bit of struggle, and then pure relief when you finally reach the spot.
I didn’t expect to stop so many times just to take it all in. Not even for photos, just to pause and look around because the place feels that immersive.
The guide made everything feel pretty effortless. You just follow along and somehow get through the whole trek without overthinking it.
