Tuk Tuk safari en picknick in The Tea Plantation van Ella, Haputale en Bandarawela

The Tuk Tuk tea experience is a “must do” when visiting Ella. Our drivers Nazar, Rizad, Supun & Arshan were five-star tour guides sharing their wealth of information with us. Thank you gents for a wonderful experience we will enjoy the memories when sipping a cup of tea.

We booked a Tuk Tuk tea plantation safari and really enjoyed it. The guides were really nice and you can feel that they really like their job, they have a lot of enthusiasm. We liked a lot being just the 3 of us and we loved the whole scenery, landscape, tea plantations and walking by the tea pickers. We expected it more touristic, it felt more off the beaten track. Actually the Sri Lanka Trekking Club is famous for its guided hiking trips. We would love to come back to Sri Lanka and participate in one of the 4-5 days hiking tours like the quite new pekoe trail.

Exhilarating tuk tuk ride up a mountain, fantastic views and a real sight of daily life on the tree plantation. Dean (I'm sure that's his working name) is an excellent driver and made the day a fun time. Recommended tour

This was a very interesting and informative activity - it provided a real understanding of the tea industry and life for the people. The guide was informative and helpful, we chugged around the hills and plantations for about five hours finishing with a tour of the oldest tea factory. Well worth it.

It was wonderful to drive through the plantations, we got a lot of explanation from our very open driver, also and just that we liked about living in or on Sri Lanka, we can only recommend it.

A wonderful and interesting excursion with tuktuk. A mile wide view of large tea farms where we got to see how the tea farms were managed, even a visit to a tea factory.
