Verlaat de gebaande paden in het toeristische Praag en leer het echte Tsjechische platteland kennen met een gids die de beste plekken kent die je niet in reisboeken zult vinden. Geniet van de magische vulkanen, verre uitzichten en charmante steppen, leer Tsjechische granaten zoeken en proef zelfgemaakte kaas op een lokale boerderij. Je beleeft een ontspannen tocht in een terreinwagen met een lokale gids, die de beste plekken kent die je niet in reisboeken zult vinden en er alleen voor jou en je vragen is.

Je beleeft een makkelijke reis in een off-road auto met een lokale gids, bezoekt magische plekken waarvan je dacht dat ze niet bestonden in Tsjechië en geniet van een verbluffend uitzicht op het gevarieerde landschap. Na de pick-up in uw hotel, rijdt u ongeveer 1 uur om het startpunt van de tour te bereiken. Onderweg en de hele dag door wordt je adem weggenomen door de verbluffende uitkijkpunten van de vulkanen en verre bergen. Je zult nauwelijks een landschap vinden dat fotogenieker is dan het Boheemse hoogland in Tsjechië. Deze uitgedoofde vulkanen creëren een wonderbaarlijk landschap, je kunt er nooit genoeg van krijgen. Je leert om te pannen voor de beroemde Boheemse granaten. Dit prachtige diep rood gekleurde mineraal is een favoriet onderdeel van sieraden over de hele wereld. Je kunt ze meenemen als een origineel souvenir. Je gaat op weg naar kleine dorpjes met pittoreske rode daken en charmante kerken, rijdt door de valleien en over de heuvels, passeert groene en geel bloeiende velden en grasland met vee, stop bij enkele van de mysterieuze middeleeuwse kastelen en geniet van de sfeer van het echte plattelandsleven. Rond het middaguur krijg je de kans om een lokale keuken te proeven in een kleine landelijke gastropub en het uitzicht op vulkanen en 4 middeleeuwse kastelen te bewonderen vanaf de tafel. Verken Raná, de populairste berg voor paragliders in Tsjechië, waar je, als je geluk hebt, zeldzame grondeekhoorns kunt observeren die vrij rondlopen in hun natuurlijke omgeving. Tot slot kunt u een lokale boerderij bezoeken, waar u zelfgemaakte geitenkaas kunt proeven en de dieren kunt aaien. Je leert hoe de geitenkaas wordt gemaakt en wat de boeren elke dag moeten doen om de boerderij draaiende te houden. Je kunt hier ook enkele van de lokale producten kopen. De lokale gids en zijn vertelling zullen uw reis onvergetelijke en ongewone ervaringen maken. Hij zal u alles vertellen wat er te weten valt over het leven op het Tsjechische platteland en al uw vragen beantwoorden. Als u er geen meer hebt, brengt de chauffeur u terug naar uw hotel. Absolutely one of the best tours of any kind in any place that I’ve taken! I wanted to experience the rural Czech countryside and this was the perfect way to do so. The hotel pickup was easy, timely and my driver Dennis was easy to chat with. Once at our destination, Martin conducted a wonderful, informative and scenic tour of the northern part of the Bohemian countryside. His knowledge of local history and culture from pre-WWII to the present was impressive. Our Mitsubishi Pajero was the perfect vehicle to travel fields and unpaved roads on our way to scenic views, small villages, castle ruins and farms. The lunch was very tasty and the restaurant was cozy and authentic. We even had a view of the countryside through a huge picture window. We actually found lots of Czech garnet and panning for it was both interesting and fun! I’m eager to try one of the other tours they offer next time I’m in the Czech Republic!

Yesterday we completed the trip "volcanic secrets" and I must say that I am very satisfied. A few years ago, I myself was a frequent guest in the Česká středohoří as a landscape photographer, but I had no idea how many undiscovered things remained here and how many wonderful vistas I had not seen. Martin's professional interpretation was also exemplary and very engaging. I definitely want to take part in other trips, I am waiting as soon as the dates are announced. Zdenek

It was already our 7th trip with Martin and we all enjoyed it very much again! This time we learned a lot of new information about the Central Bohemian Uplands and experienced it with all our senses. Starting with sight thanks to beautiful views. Everything was blooming and smelling so intensely that we sat down in the grass and listened to Martin's interesting stories. The children were most enthusiastic about panning for Czech garnets. And the whole trip ended with a tasting of local cheeses. I recommend to everyone! Martin is the perfect guide! It is really an authentic experience for children, adults. Simply almost for everyone!

Great opportunity to see some of the countryside and smaller villages, which was a nice change of pace from Prague. We also did garnet mining in a little forest stream and sampled some delicious goat cheese along the way. The scenery was spectacular and Martin is an extremely personable and friendly guide who clearly loves what he does. Do not hesitate to experience this trip, you will not regret it !!

A beautiful trip, through the landscape of the Czech Central Highlands, even to places that are not commonly accessible by off-road vehicles.
