Excellent, fun evening!!! We got our own transportation. Welcomed warmly with honey wine, welcome drink. Traditional food, served family style for our group of 5. F Th
One of our best folk nights around the world. Fantastic local food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Dancing and singing, the singers and the waiting staff mad sure regardless from where you are from you get a song and good time
I only gave it four stars, but I would 100% do it again! The transfer to and from our hotel was on time and saved us from another expense (although you can’t leave early and the show doesn’t get done until 10:00). There is as much wine/beer you can drink. If you are a vegetarian, it’s a pretty meat-centric meal but I was still full at the end. The dancing was fun and for the price it’s a great way to enjoy a night out in Prague.
The band was amazing in terms of local music performance as well as of show with local outfits. Since we were Turkish they have prepared some gestures through which they said welcome and good bye with our lokal beloved songs which was so amazing and flattering for our side. Many thanks to the creators of the show and to the Restaurant as well dishes of which was delicious.
We were picked up at our hotel for a short ride to the venue. It was festively decorated and the musicians and singers had already begun to do some light entertainment before drinks were served. We, along with everyone else, were already having a great time. The food was great but way too much for one person to eat.
There was nothing memorable about this experience. We were barely able to move from our bench seats since we were so crowded. It was terribly noisy. We were not able to see the show from the angle where we were seated. The food was average.
Except for being 15 minutes late due to the traffic in Prague and our driver being late, there was plenty of food, beer, and wine and the show was very entertaining. I would suggest this tour.
My husband called upstage for dancing! The meal and generous wine and beer servings were worth the price, not counting the fabulous entertainment. Personalized by each country in attendance.
We had a transfer but had to wait more than an hour in the cold because the driver did not arrive. We arrived as the entrance was served and the show began. Nice room and medium but tasty meal
We booked this excursion with Prague Tours Direct. They did not provide information on where to meet the driver at the hotel. As a result we waited at the wrong entrance for 30 minutes before the hotel front desk called us for the driver. We arrived 30 minutes late and the show had already started. Despite this we had a great time at the venue. You start with a shot glass of honey wine (meade) that was so good I bought a bottle. The beer was excellent and they would keep refilling as requested. We had the traditional menu which was surprisingly good for a tourist venue and more food than you could eat. The musicians were extremely talented, especially the hammered dulcimer player and lead violinist. The singer was excellent as were the dancers. It was fun watching audience members learning the traditional dances. The singer spoke several languages including English to explain the songs. The waiters all spoke English as well. Transfer back to the hotel was fine. A fun way to spend an evening.
