Fantastic truffle hunt with Gae and his lovely wife! We enjoyed a nice walk in the forrest with the cute dogs - and found multiple truffles. Afterwards we enjoyed a really great, authentic Italian tasting in the woods, which was one of the best meals we’ve had in Puglia. We highly recommend this experience!

This is a must do, the Alta Murgia Tartufi family looked after us so well. From explaining the different truffles and different seasons to helping the dogs find the truffles was just fabulous and the spread of food and wine afterwards was just amazing.

Lovely experience. We were served a nice lunch with truffles mixed with various dishes such as frise, pasta, deviled eggs. It was a lot to eat and beautifully set too. Then we set out on a truffle hunt with the dogs. Very nice! Note the listing specifies a location and a time but the host is flexible and you can discuss when and where to meet in Puglia! Highly recommend.

Had a great afternoon hunting for truffles with an amazing lunch. Learned a lot about truffles and where they grow and got to meet the cutest little truffle dogs. Would recommend!

This is a must in PUGLIA! I have always wanted to do a Truffle hunt since I saw Oprah do hers in the 90s. I always thought I had to go to the Toscana region of Italy. Today my husband and I had a most wonderful Pranza of pasta, meatballs, focaccia, burrata, verdure, etc all enhanced with the owners cultivated truffles and Truffle oil. We then went on the Truffle hunt following Gaetano-the owner- as we all followed his cute and smart dogs finding truffles. Gaetano was so great as a host and a teacher of all things Truffle! We had an amazing afternoon of food and adventure.

We were informed a bit last minute about the meeting time. But everything went very well: the unusual, delicious, and hearty lunch; the simple and joyful interaction with Gaëtan; the easy and short walk and the botanical explanations; the company and behavior of the dogs…

This experience was truly magical! I was looking for something unique to do in the Puglia region. This event exceeded my expectations.. The kindness and warmth of Gaetano and Annalisa, along with the excitement of following the dogs Zara and Luna through the beautiful forest as they located many truffles, made it a wonderful late afternoon and evening. Then the delicious and plentiful dinner (served with truffles in many different ways) prepared and presented by Annalisa at a picnic table in a clearing in the woods- put it over the top! Highly recommended!

Amazing authentic and unique experience during our vacation to Puglia. Host was kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off in Monopoli for a total of approx 3h. It was an easy walk in the woods with our group of 8 people, even with a baby carrier on. The experience was followed by a generous dreamy truffle meal in the field with the dogs. We even got to keep our found truffles and leave with a gift!! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a unique experience.

The truffle hunt with lunch in the woods was a magical adventure! The walk with Gaetano and the three joyful puppies was relaxing and educational! The lunch prepared by Annalisa was special, featuring typical Apulian products and truffles that were the common thread of the entire day! We chose this experience to celebrate our dad's birthday, who was very surprised and truly delighted by the warmth, professionalism, and friendliness of Gaetano and Annalisa! They seemed to have been family forever. Thank you again, it was a beautiful day 😍 We highly recommend it!!!

One of the most magical experiences we had in Italy! From the very beginning, everything felt authentic, relaxed and beautifully organized. The truffle hunting itself was amazing watching the dogs search for freshly hidden truffles in the peaceful forest was such a unique experience (and honestly adorable 🐶🍄). After the hunt, we had an incredible outdoor tasting surrounded by nature. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful: rustic tables in the woods, candles, flowers, wine and golden evening light everywhere. It felt like a scene from a movie. The food was delicious and very generous with truffles fresh truffle pasta, local cheeses, mushrooms, desserts and wine pairings. You could really taste the quality and freshness of everything. We especially loved the pasta with freshly shaved truffle on top. The hosts were warm, passionate and made the whole experience feel personal rather than touristy. It was the perfect mix of adventure, amazing food and slow Italian countryside vibes. Highly recommended for couples, food lovers and anyone wanting a truly memorable experience in Puglia. We would absolutely do it again! 🤍🍷
