Our two excursions with Mautourco were absolute highlights of our Mauritius vacation – above all thanks to our guide Javed. He was incredibly friendly, warm, and competent. We booked an English-language tour and Javed speaks wonderfully understandable English. It was no problem at all to follow him. He not only showed us the well-known sights, but also many places off the beaten tourist path. His explanations regarding the history, culture, and everyday life on Mauritius were exciting and personal. We never had the feeling of simply being "herded through" – instead, he tailored the tour entirely to our interests. We were on the 2. day in Port Louis with Javed. Thank you very much, Javed, for two unforgettable days! We would go out with you again anytime.

Wow, what an incredible day we’ve had, and that is entirely down to Raggo. From the moment we met him, he made us feel relaxed, welcome, and completely looked after. His passion for the island is obvious — his knowledge, stories, and attention to detail brought every place we visited to life. Raggo went far beyond being “just a driver.” He was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and he always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. We visited waterfalls, the coloured earth, the rum factory, small villages, saw giant tortoises, explored a local market, and visited Grand Bassin and the temple — and each stop felt special because of the way Raggo explained and shared it with us. Brilliant tour, with the fantastic Raggoo. We really felt that not only did we see the beauty of this Island, but thanks to Raggoo, we came away with a good understanding of the history and the people. All the planned stops were interesting, but Raggoo was always on the look out for other things of interest. We saw a rare pink pigeon, and the local delicacy, Chinese guava. Lunch was in a lovely restaurant, with a spectacular view. We can throughly recommend this tour.

We had a great time with our guide Javad. We were picked up from our hotel on time and as driving Javad was very informative about many things making our trip more interesting. He loves talking photos for you at all the various stops and is very creative with his photography 😁 he has a great sense of humour it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. Excellent tour from start to end, made so much better by our driver/guide Vikesh. His commentary was marvelous, covering the islands varied history, its traditions and customs. There was nothing he didn't know. Tour was done in a big Kia EV, with beautiful air conditioning. Vikesh was a credit to both the company and his country.

We had a brilliant day tour with Raggoo! He had fountains of knowledge and answered every single question we had. We felt very safe on the drive and he was very happy to accommodate any requests we had. Throughout the day we saw many sights and even some wildlife as well! Located in the extreme south-west of Mauritius, the lands of 7 colors are located in the Chamarel region. These are sands of seven different colors that give life to one of the most striking landscapes and one of the main attractions of Mauritius. It is an area of about 7500 m2 formed by sand dunes in which red, brown, purple, green, blue, purple and yellow intertwine. These different shades of color have arranged themselves naturally in different layers and create a surreal striped coloration. The colors red/anthracite and blue/violet are due to the two main chemical elements present in the soil, namely iron and aluminum. Unfortunately visited in one day with intermittent rain. Suggestive but now too touristy!

This was the second time we have done this tour with Raggoo - the best driver in Mauritius and also the most knowledgeable and patient guide. Always went the extra mile showing us all the flora and fauna plus knowing all the history. There are some stunning scenes - lunch view is beyond amazing and we even stopped to get some lychees on the way back to the hotel !
