Elke bekroonde wijnmakerij die u bezoekt, geeft u de kans om de individuen achter de wijnbereiding te ontmoeten en al uw vragen te beantwoorden tijdens deze briljante kleine groepsexcursie. Hallo van Cyprus Taste Tours! We zijn een vriendelijk team van lokale gidsen, allemaal met Cypriotische afkomst. Een groep echte fijnproevers, onze activiteiten zijn gericht op het ontdekken van Cyprus door middel van eten en wijn ... Je wordt rondgereden door de Troodos-bergdorpen om 4 zorgvuldig geselecteerde wijnhuizen te bezoeken. Elke boetiekwijnmakerij die je bezoekt, is eigendom van een familie en je krijgt de kans om de mensen achter de wijnbereiding te ontmoeten en al je vragen te beantwoorden tijdens deze schitterende excursie met kleine groepen. Je bezoekt het terrein van ten minste twee van de wijnmakerijen om meer te weten te komen over het proces en de geschiedenis van wijn. Tijdens elke proeverij ontdek je de inheemse druivensoorten van het eiland en ervaar je een selectie van wit, rosé en rood.
We halen je op van een Paphos-locatie naar keuze. Ons team garandeert u een fantastisch dagje uit - we halen het meeste uit uw tijd bij ons en nemen u mee op een op maat gemaakte reis door dorpen op Cyprus. Opgericht in 2011 - we zijn ervan overtuigd dat we de beste plekken kennen en we stoppen nooit met verkennen! We zijn allemaal volledig opgeleid in de traditionele gerechten en wijn van het eiland en u zult zeker een professionele 5-sterrenervaring krijgen. We toeren door het berglandschap van Troodos om 3 verschillende wijnmakerijen en de wijnkelder van een historisch klooster te bezoeken. Tijdens deze schilderachtige bergtocht geniet je van de landelijke dorpjes en ontmoet je de echte lokale bevolking - plus de mogelijkheid om wijn te kopen tegen fantastische prijzen! De wijnhuizen staan hieronder vermeld, maar kunnen per seizoen verschillen.

Dit schilderachtige klooster is gewijd aan 'Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Gouden Granaatappel' en werd in 1152 gesticht door monnik Ignatios die een wonderbaarlijk icoon van de Maagd Maria vond voor de kust van Pafos. De legende wil dat het tijdens de iconoclastische periode in de zee in Klein-Azië werd gegooid en door de golven naar Pafos dreef. Het huidige gebouw dateert uit 1770.
We stoppen in Polemi village* voor een heerlijke traditionele meze lunch met wijn en flessen water - allemaal inbegrepen bij je Cyprus Taste Tours ticket. *Het dorp en de taverna die we bezoeken is onderhevig aan verandering, afhankelijk van de uiteindelijke route.

We gaan de landelijke gebieden van Cyprus verkennen via de fantastische boetiekwijnhuizen! Als u uw ophaallocatie niet op de lijst ziet staan op het moment van boeken - ga dan door met uw boeking en in het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat we de ophaling niet kunnen uitvoeren - wordt een volledige terugbetaling verwerkt. Deze tour doet het Troodosplein NIET aan en zal alleen verschillende dorpen binnen het Troodos berggebied aandoen.

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Cyprus Taste Tours! 🍷🇨🇾 The intimate group of just four people made the experience feel personal and relaxed, and the scenic drive through Cyprus made the day even more enjoyable. Our tour guide, Christina, was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the whole experience so much fun and really brought the history, culture, and wine of Cyprus to life. The traditional Greek lunch was absolutely amazing—delicious, authentic, and a perfect part of the experience. All three wineries we visited had their own unique qualities, but Ayia Mavri was phenomenal and definitely a highlight of the day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We loved the combination of beautiful scenery, wonderful food, great wine, and Christina’s excellent company. I was travelling alone so taking a pre organized tour was a really fun way to spend one day. At the same tour with me were five other people. We had amazing time together and our tour guide Georgina was really nice! In the morning we had a minor misunderstanding because I misread the message I received the day before and I was waiting at the hotel lobby while Georgina was waiting me outside of the hotel in the street. But after that minor misunderstanding everything went really well. The tree wineries we visited were very different from each other but I really liked that it showed us the variety of wineries they have here in Cyprus.

This was a fantastic experience- we were picked up in the morning by Elena our guide for the day - she sent a msg saying she had arrived and we went straight out to her She said that she had water in a cool bag for us on the trip - if anyone would like it The party of us in the vehicle were 6 and everybody got on great - we visited 3 wineries and called at a local taverna for lunch- absolutely fantastic food and wine - oh I forgot there was water in the table as well Elena was a fantastic guide - informed us if everything - thank you

Elena was our guide on this tour - we she arrived outside our hotel she msg to say she had arrived - so we didn’t have to ask our cars that were pulling up for other excursions We picked another 4 people up and Elena was very informative to what would happen next she also had bottles of water in a cool bag for all of us We went to 3 wineries and tasted wines there - we also were taken to a taverna for lunch - this was a very clean taverna and we had lots & lots of different dishes - Meze everything cooked perfect again more wine on the table - also water The last winery we visited the owner made appearance and spoke very good English- he looked so well and we asked him what was his secret - a glass of wine a day 👍 he really looked amazing for his age Elena was the perfect guide for our trip so a big thank you from us

We had an absolutely fantastic day, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Christina. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts without it ever feeling like a lecture. Christina was friendly, easygoing, and made everyone feel relaxed and welcome from the start. The whole day was well organised, but it never felt rushed, and nothing was too much trouble. The wineries were all excellent, and we really enjoyed the variety and balance of wines we had the opportunity to taste. The staff at each winery were also incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and happy to share their expertise, which made every visit even more enjoyable. Christina’s enthusiasm for the places we visited really added to the experience and made the day all the more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fantastic day out. Thank you, Christina, for making it such a brilliant experience!
