Troodos-gebergte 4x4-tour met Meze-lunch vanuit Larnaca
Beschrijving
Breng de dag door met reizen door het beboste Troodosgebergte en ontdek enkele van Cyprus' wildste landschappen tijdens deze 4x4 tour. Zie wijngaarden, watervallen, bergdorpjes zoals Lefkara, dennenbossen en meer. We trappen de actie af bij de indrukwekkende Dipotamos Dam voor een fotostop. Vervolgens gaat het naar het slaperige bergdorp Lefkara, bekend om zijn ingewikkeld gemaakte kant en zilverwerk. We gaan een beetje off-piste naar Mesa Potamos Forest waar je ook kunt deelnemen aan een optionele wandeling. Zodra je trek hebt opgebouwd, wordt er een lunch in meze-stijl geserveerd in een dorpstaverna. Daarna gaan we naar een prachtige boswaterval met ijskoud water dat 20 meter naar beneden stroomt. Er is ook een stop voor een wijnproeverij, gevolgd door een bezoek aan Omodos dorp, waar u door smalle straatjes kunt wandelen en een Cypriotische koffie kunt proeven in een lokaal 'kafenion'. Een verfrissend einde van een dag vol actie.

Bezoek Lefkara Village, wereldwijd bekend om zijn zilverwerk en handgemaakte kant. Geniet van een gratis welkomstdrankje.
Rijd door het Mesa Potamos Forest langs de rivier stroomopwaarts. Begin je kleine mini trektocht door het bos op weg naar de rivier. In een idyllische omgeving heeft u de mogelijkheid om prachtige foto's te maken.
Vergeet de lunch niet: Inbegrepen in dit avontuurlijke pakket is een uiterst memorabele lunch met een scala aan vers bereide lokale gerechten, waaronder vegetarische opties. Wijn, water en limonade worden gratis geserveerd in deze all-inclusive maaltijd in een comfortabele en schone bergdorp taverna.
Een fantastisch natuurwonder, een bergwaterval met ijskoud water dat van een rotsachtige klif naar beneden valt. Deze paradijselijke plek, met zijn weelderige vegetatie en koel bronwater, zal zowel uw lichaam als ziel ontspannen.
Wijnproeverij : onze volgende stop is bij een lokale wijnmakerij waar u verschillende regionale heerlijke wijnen gratis kunt proeven.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Als uw boeking een hotel pick-up en drop-off omvat, zou u al een bericht van ons moeten hebben ontvangen met informatie over de exacte ophaaltijd en plaats. Negeer de ophaalplaats en tijd die op het ticket staan vermeld. Als u deze informatie niet ten minste 72 uur voor aanvang van de activiteit heeft ontvangen, neem dan contact met ons op.

- Voor deze excursie zijn minimaal 6 personen nodig. Als dit minimum niet wordt bereikt, bieden we je een alternatieve dag aan of kun je kosteloos annuleren.
- Wanneer we uw boeking ontvangen, nemen we contact met u op om de exacte ophaaltijd en -plaats te bevestigen, dus controleer uw e-mail. Als u ten minste 48 uur vóór aanvang van de activiteit niets van ons heeft gehoord, dient u contact met ons op te nemen.

There was no vegetarian food although I stated I was a vegetarian in my booking. The stopp were a bit short.
We had an amazing driver/guide George Michael! He is very knowledgeable and tell us so much information. He drove us safe and show the beautiful places !
The Troodos Mountains are a must see. My wife and I enjoyed our ride in the Land Rover Defender. The driver was awesome and took us off road multiple times. We had a great day.
My girlfriend and I went on the wine tour in February for valentine's day and it was the highlight of our trip. But the best part wasn't the rich wine we tasted or the meal of kings that we were served rather it was the experience that the driver and tour guide gave. George Michael, not the singer, although we did jam out to his music, was phenomenal. His love and passion for Cyprus coupled with his wealth of knowledge about her history gifted the trip something that you can't put in words. He cared for each detail so that everything would go smoothly. My girlfriend and I still rock out to the music we heard, talk about the tour and reminisce about our travel to Cyprus.

Nice day with a friendly guide, travelling to interesting places in mountains on narrow roads ("meandros"), rich lunch in a restarants based on the local food, tasting good wines. Be prepared for a small seasick from the jeep travelling.

Today (29/10/22) me and my partner went on this beautiful tour together. We were partnered by many tourists like us, from all over the world. This experience exposed us to wonderful people, culture, delicious food and wine and most importantly an amazing tour guide. We were lucky to have George Micheal as our tour guide. Nice to see parts of Cyprus you wouldn’t see with a normal rental car and when you are on a tour you can fully enjoy the winery :) The villages we visited was also very nice.

We had an amazing time at this tour, they take you to a lot of places in the troodos mountains in larnaca! It was a long and fun day, and our 4X4 driver, Andy, was so cool and fun.. we really had a blast! Worth the money you pay:)
