Ga mee op een leuke en interessante wandeltocht en speurtocht door het hart van Tromsø, ontdek de fascinerende geschiedenis van de stad, verborgen juweeltjes en lokale favorieten. Hoogtepunten zijn onder andere wandelen langs de levendige kade, een selfie maken bij de nieuwe Gateway to the Arctic, de kleurrijke houten gebouwen in de oude stad zien en de Arctische vibes voelen. Geniet van een korte maar schilderachtige rit over de iconische Tromsø-brug naar de Arctische kathedraal - een van de meest adembenemende gebouwen van Noorwegen - en geniet van het grootste glas-in-loodraam van Noord-Europa. Uw lokale Gids zal u ontmoeten en begroeten bij de kathedraal van Tromsø (Tromsø Domkirke) in het centrum van de stad voordat u begint aan onze wandeling in het fascinerende en unieke stadscentrum van Tromsø. De rondleiding bestaat uit drie delen : 1. Spannende speurtocht en begeleide wandeling in het centrum van Tromsø : Ongeveer 2 km wandelen (ongeveer 1 uur en 15 min) 2. Verken Tromsøs fascinerende verleden en heden in het oudste en nieuwste deel van de stad met een bezoek aan de ongelooflijke Poort naar het Noordpoolgebied : ca. 05.km wandelen (ca. 30 min) 3. Schilderachtige busrit over de Tromsø brug en een begeleid bezoek aan de prachtige Arctische Kathedraal (ongeveer 5 minuten met de bus en ongeveer 40 minuten bij de Arctische Kathedraal). NB : De tour eindigt bij de Arctische Kathedraal. Retour busrit (ongeveer 5 min) naar het centrum van Tromsø is inbegrepen in de prijs. Avontuurlijke gasten kunnen terugkeren naar de stad door te lopen over de Tromsø brug (ongeveer 30 min).
Een begeleid bezoek aan de prachtige Arctische kathedraal, een van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en symbool van Tromsø. We maken een mooie busrit over de Tromsø brug (ongeveer 5 min) naar de kerk voor het begeleide bezoek aan de kerk (ongeveer 40 min).

An enjoyable and informative tour of Tromso taken at a nice pace. We enjoyed Gavin's stories about the interesting things he showed us and the fun treasure hunt which took us to each point of interest. We would definitely recommend Gavin's tours and will book another one when we return to Tromso in the future 😀

The „Tromsø Walking Tour with Treasure Hunt and Arctic Cathedral Visit“ was such a wonderful walk, receiving so much information about the culture, history and arts of the town. Oda showed pictures to us and let us look out for them. We saw “Stolpersteine" (stumbling blocks) and she told us the sad story behind them. We went also to the “Gateway to the Arctic”, the latest mosaic of the over ninety years old artist Marit Bockelie and to the Arctic Cathedral, where Oda explained the facts behind the scene. This was a fantastic little tour l can recommend to everyone.

We had an awesome time with Oda. She was fun, interesting and very knowledgeable. We started the tour with safety, Oda helped us with reflectors and spikes. We walked all through the old and new parts of Tromso learning about the history as well as interesting people that have lived in here over the years. A highlight was seeing Jardar Johansen (a famous Norwegian singer) doing a dress rehearsal in the Arctic Cathedral. The acoustic were amazing. Oda made the afternoon feel like we were walking around with good friends. We would highly recommend!
