Trollfjord en Sea Eagle Safari Tour vanuit Svolvaer

We bezoeken de fantastische Trollfjord: De Trollfjord is een van de meest bezochte natuurattracties op de Lofoten. De fjord is een zijarm van het Raftsund-oosten op de Lofoten. De fjord is 2 km lang en op het smalste punt slechts 100 meter breed. De steile bergen rondom de fjord zijn tussen de 600 en 1100 meter hoog. De fjord heeft ook een belangrijke rol gespeeld in onze visserij. De slag om de Trollfjord in 1890 wordt vereeuwigd door de roman van Johan Bojer, «De laatste viking», en een van de hoofdwerken van de schilder Gunnar Berg (1863-1893). Het schilderij De slag om de Trollfjord kan worden bekeken in de Gunnar Berg-galerij van Svinøya Rorbuer.

Great tour! We had a lot of fun! Saw lots of eagles and even a family of orcas! Fantastic!

The only thing missing for a perfect outing was the sun. But the mist that enveloped the mountains added a mysterious atmosphere.

Great ! Calm moments in islands and good speed between ! A little short (1h30). We could have stayed longer in the fjord
Dear Fabien Thank you for joining us on the trip. The tour takes between an hour and a half and two hours. Sometimes the waves are a bit rough, which can make it take a little longer. We usually have good luck spotting eagles, thought sometime it takes more time; we don´t go ashore until we`ve seen some eagles. Normal time out at sea 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes if everythings goes our way regarding the weather, the wind and the eagles.

Fantastic trip! I have taken it several times but this time was the best. Had a super capable guide, Tor, who ran the rib both fun and safe, and we got to see many eagles very close to!
No doubt the most professional, experienced and competitive rib provider out of Svolvær and Lofoten. Loved how they cram everyone into putting on the survival suits. -Flash back to kinder garden; breaking down all cultural barriers in the multi-national group participating. Our captain & superb guide; Mr Torarinn, gave us a memorable experience with his profound knowledge about the sea eagles, history and boating. I think he wishes for an extra 600-hp engine😉 His super casual, varm and friendly attitude, similar to all Nordlendinger, was a big contribution to our fantastic experience. A beautiful experience my teen age kids and myself will never forget! -It got even better when we had two local ladies on the rib who was impressed! I highly recommend this rib provider. I will definetly book them when I come back in February for skrei fiske and northern lights🤓
