Het startpunt. Het is een moderne brug op het kanaal, met een straatnaambord om het te markeren. Zoek naar het straatnaambord om te controleren of je aan de rechterkant van het kanaal staat.
In de elegante straten van de Borgo Teresiano, een wijk gevormd door het Habsburgse Rijk, kunt u genieten van een verscheidenheid aan zorgvuldig geselecteerde proeverijen die de diverse culinaire invloeden van de stad laten zien.
Het hart van de Borgo Teresiano, met een prachtig kanaal dat elegante 19e-eeuwse gebouwen en afgemeerde boten weerspiegelt.

Sveva was a wonderful host and took us to many local (but away from the most touristy) restaurants and shops. The food was delicious and we learned a lot about the history of Trieste. She catered the experience and information to the interests of the group. I would definitely recommend.
Sveva was a lovely guide, who is very passionate about her home town and the food and drink from the region. The whole family enjoyed the experience, even our fussy teenager! Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

A great introduction to food in Trieste. Started off with a glass of wine and a meatball and fried zucchini at a traditional buffet Then two more stops with food and wine. And last stop espresso and dessert. A full morning learning about the local cuisine. Theresa was a great guide.

Sveva was a super informative tour guide, well-prepared, and incredibly informative. She was passionate about Trieste as a life-long resident. Our only concern about the tour was that the food was a bit lacking - only 3 food stops with minimal “substance” (meat/fish). We enjoyed the local food options and it was good but it just seemed that we could add another stop to make it more of a substantive food tour.

A walking tour with a guide and four other people around part of Trieste whilst stopping off at various restaurants and cafes to enjoy a selection of small plates of local food and local wines. We stopped at 4 separate locations and were given a detailed description of what we were eating. A very friendly and experienced guide who will provide a recipe book afterwards for you covering the various items you sampled
