Geniet van een eendaagse familiereis in het land Transsylvanië. Je tour omvat een bezoek aan het Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, een reservaat waar je "je eigen beer kunt adopteren" en het Teddy Bear Museum kunt bezoeken. Je maakt ook een rondleiding door Dracula's Castle en brengt een paar uur door in Brasov, de middeleeuwse stad omringd door het Karpatengebergte, dat National Geographic uitriep tot een van de meest aantrekkelijke voor 2025.

Je wordt door je reisgids opgehaald bij het hotel en je begint je avontuurlijke dagtocht. Je bezoekt het berenreservaat in Zarnesti, een natuurreservaat in de Karpaten. Hier krijgt u de gelegenheid om beren in bomen te zien klimmen, te spelen in de waterbaden of gewoon te luieren in de weiden. Hier is de plek waar echte beren en teddyberen samenleven. Bezoek het Teddyberenmuseum en bekijk meer dan 200 teddyberen van over de hele wereld. Enkele van de belangrijkste attracties zijn twee gigantische beren die een geschenk waren van de koninklijke familie van Groot-Brittannië.
Je route gaat verder naar Bran Castle, dat de top van de griezeligste plaatsen ter wereld is binnengedrongen als Dracula's Castle. Stap binnen in de mysterieuze kamers en donkere gangen om de legende van de beroemdste vampier te ontdekken.
Vervolgens ga je door naar Brasov. De stad werd gesticht door de Duitse ridders in 1211 en wordt omringd door de Karpaten. Loop door de smalste straat van Europa - Rope Street en maak zoveel mogelijk foto's. Omdat deze stad het verbindingspunt is tussen Transsylvanië, Walachije en Moldavië, vindt u Roemeense, Duitse en Hongaarse snoepjes gemaakt volgens originele recepten.
Daarna wordt u teruggebracht naar Boekarest.

Had a really good day trip. Well organised and very informative. Would recommend if you want a taste of what Romania has to offer and you have limited time. Would recommend. Octavian the tour guide was really friendly, helpful and made sure we enjoyed our day.

Booked a tour of Libearty Sanctuary + Bran castle + Brasov. While the former two had their own guides and the Rolandia team were not involved in, guide Ana and driver Dan were friendly and approachable throughout the tour. Be aware that the sanctuary has steep slopes and may be harsh for some. Similarly, Bran castle is also situated atop of a hill with a rather steep slope. Both places were wonderful. Ana was especially knowledgeable about destinations and gave information about Romania's history and culture throughout the long bus rides. The driving was a little chaotic but all in all a wonderful trip and learned loads!

Our visit with Mihai was perfect! It was just what I’d hoped for - a mix of nature and enough city visiting that I felt like I’d visited a bit of Transylvania. Just what I wanted, plus a guide happy to flex when we wanted to stray a little from the strict itinerary. Lovely!

We would definitely recommend this trip. It involved a lot of travel but this was done in comfort and with our fantastic guide Octavian, who was very knowledgable and allowed us time to explore, not feeling rushed. As first time visitors we recommend visiting the Bear Sanctuary, Bran Castle and Brasov. Excellent communication from Octavian before, during and after the tour. This helped us plan for our trip and pick up and he provided us with information which we expressed an interest in knowing more about. Thank you Octavian.

Excellent tour of the main spots of Transylvania. Bear sanctuary informative, Castle Bran not as big as you would think and Brasov a nice town to explore, the cable car in Brasov is worth a sideline visit. Octavius was a great guide and knowledgeable.

We had an absolutely amazing day in Transylvania, made even better by our exceptional guide, Laura. From start to finish, she was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The best part of the day (and the main reason for booking) was the visit to the bear sanctuary, which was both moving and unforgettable. We then explored Bran Castle, famously ‘linked’ to the Dracula legend, Laura told us the true history of the Castle. Her knowledge made this stop beneficial when it could have very easily just been a quick generic tourist attraction stop. The visit to Brașov was equally enjoyable; a beautiful city with plenty of charm. Laura guided us through the highlights while also giving us time to explore ourselves which we really appreciated. Overall, this was a brilliantly organised trip, and Laura was exceptional throughout. The travelling time is long and although we had regular stops I would recommend bringing drinks and snacks for the journey. Thanks again Laura, Jack and Dan.

Mihai was an excellent guide. He had really good English and made our day terrific. Throughout the day he made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed and that every visit was at a suitable pace with well timed breaks. He fitted in extra visits where time allowed and tailored the whole day to our ability. He was great company and we would have no hesitation in recommending him for an informative and fun filled day.

Really good trip. I hadn’t realised we would have a little walking tour of Brasov which was an extra treat. Michael was very friendly. Would recommend. Wear sensible footwear to the bear sanctuary and please be a respectful tourist - it’s not a zoo

We did the tour of Transylvania with Dracula castle, bear sanctuary and Braşov. It was a long day, however it was also jam packed when visiting these places. The bear sanctuary was great. It was incredible to see the bears up close and personal. The guide explained the stories about the bears we saw which was nice to hear. The sanctuary is on a hill and you have to walk up a steep hill while there. The tour is for just over an hour which flew by. Next was Dracula castle, this was in a lovely little town. The castle was lovely, however it was very busy and we visited out of season. We had just over an hour here and after walking around the castle it was straight back in the car. Within Braşov Mihai our tour guide took us around different places and explained their history. He was full of knowledge and really helpful. Overall this was a really good day which we throughly enjoyed. We did take snacks to keep us going, but you do get time for food in Braşov.
