This was incredibly stress free. Our driver Vasile contacted us upon landing and was waiting for us. He then dropped us off at the hotel. It was super slick and easy. Thank you

Very disappointed with tour company...the driver took us to the wrong drop off location that we provided. Over hour out of our way. Especially not happy with the driver grabbing my cell phone out of my hand to tap his phone. We finally made it to our destination.

The hotel name provided in the booking matched two different properties in Rome with the same name. Unfortunately, the incorrect location was used, which led to the longer transfer. The drivers showed up a late and vans were parked much further away than anticipated. Would have been easier to jump in a cab.

The driver did use his phone periodically, but only for the navigation system - to monitor real-time traffic and select the best route. We strictly ensure that phones are used solely for work purposes and never distract from safe driving. We would like to note that despite your flight being delayed by one and a half hours, our driver remained at the airport and waited for you to provide a comfortable transfer. For us, it is important to fulfill our commitments even in unpredictable situations. It would have been very pleasant to hear at least a simple “thank you” at that moment - such words greatly motivate the team and show that our efforts are appreciated. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and we are sincerely disappointed by the situation. We would be delighted if you choose us again in the future. We booked a YourItaliaTransfer vehicle in advance to get us from the airport to our Airbnb. We knew we would be very tired by the end of the flight and we didn't want the stress of trying to negotiate taxi or taxis at the end of that. With a family of 5 (plus luggage) most taxis in Rome aren't big enough to carry us and didn't want to split us up as soon as we landed either. When we arrived at the airport we ended up at the back of a very long customs line due to having a child under the age of 12. About 45 minutes into that wait I texted the number tripadvisor provided us for YourItaliaTransfer. Our driver responded immediately that he was there and waiting for us. Unfortunately it took us over an hour and a half to get through customs but our driver patiently waited for us with a sign with our name on it. He took our luggage cart and guided us to our van and loaded luggage up. I had provided the destination address in the initial booking and he knew exactly where to go. Once at our destination we had trouble getting in the downstairs apartment door and wondered for a moment if we were at the wrong location but he helped us connect the name on the call buttons with our airbnb host. Once she came down he helped us unload. Our delay getting through customs cost him an extra 30 Euros or so in parking fees. I'm not sure he was actually going to charge us for that or not but he did indicate by text that only first hour of wait after landing was free and that parking fees were expensive which I have no doubt is true. Regardless, I did tip him more than enough to cover the extra parking charge as I appreciated his patience and how well he made the transfer go for us. Booking this service from the airport was I think a very good decision and took a lot of stress away at the point of the trip where we were most exhausted. The only suggestion I would have for the tour operator would be to proactively reach out to customers through tripadvisor or preferably by text once they see their aircraft has landed just to let them know the driver is there This can be helpful and reassuring as guests are trying to negotiate both customs and luggage pickup.
