Wij verzorgen de pick-up bij Achada do Teixeira. Ons busje staat altijd van tevoren op de parkeerplaats. In het geval dat je eerder aankomt dan voorspeld en het regent of waait, kun je altijd wachten in het café en halen we je op. Houd er rekening mee dat we geen kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar kunnen vervoeren. Het is erg belangrijk dat u de aanbevolen tijd, vooral door de chauffeur, voor de wandeling respecteert, omdat er andere mensen aan de tour deelnemen. U dient zich te houden aan de aangegeven tijd aangezien wij het recht hebben om te vertrekken als u niet komt opdagen

Fabio, our driver, contacted us even before the pickup. Meeting point, car, time - everything perfectly prepared. The drive itself was very entertaining; Fabio told us a lot about the island and gave us great tips. He picked us up on time and dropped us off safely right at the starting point of our hike. Very clear instructions for the meeting (WhatsApp contact, sending the Google Maps location + photo of the vehicle). The driver was present at the scheduled time, very courteous and available. The vehicle was spacious (5 passengers) and comfortable. I found the driver's driving remarkably cautious, smooth, and pleasant, despite the many curves on the transfer route. I do not regret choosing this provider for my hike on the PR1 and I recommend it! It is the ideal solution for doing this hike when you already have a rental vehicle elsewhere: parking at Achado do Teixeira, transfer to Pico do Arieiro, hike on the PR1, and finally picking up your vehicle upon arrival at Achado to return to the hotel.
