Optimaliseer uw tijd in Galapagos! Door bij aankomst het reuzenschildpadreservaat en de lavatunnels te bezoeken, kunt u tijd besparen voor andere activiteiten. Normaal gesproken is de transfer vanaf de luchthaven direct en zonder tussenstops, de volgende dag brengen ze je terug naar het bovenste deel van het eiland om de schildpadden en de tunnels te bezoeken, wat betekent dat je een dag verliest in Galapagos. Bij ons win je een dag sinds je deze attracties bezoekt op het moment van aankomst.

Bij aankomst op de Galapagos luchthaven op Baltra Island dient u uw documenten te tonen en de toegangsprijs voor het Galapagos National Park te betalen, waarna u uw bagage kunt meenemen en bij vertrek zal onze gids u opwachten met een bordje met uw naam erop het. Vanaf hier zal onze gids je te allen tijde helpen en gaan we verder in een transport (kosten inbegrepen in de prijs) naar het einde van het eiland naar het zogenaamde Itabaca-kanaal.
We verlaten het transport en gaan naar het dok van het kanaal, we gaan aan boord (de kosten zijn inbegrepen) en trekken de reddingsvesten aan die ons zullen voorzien als we eenmaal vol zijn, de veerboot maakt een korte vaart naar het eiland ervoor dat Santa Cruz is.
We stappen van de veerboot en ons transport wacht op u (vanaf hier is de transfer privé omdat het vorige segment niet mogelijk is, alle passagiers delen het vervoer over land en de veerboot) en de eerste stop is de reuzenschildpad Reserveren.
We komen aan bij het Reuzenschildpaddenreservaat waar we door de kleine struikbossen kunnen wandelen om de reuzenschildpadden van de Galapagos in hun natuurlijke staat te observeren. Onze gids zal u informeren over de flora en fauna van de plaats. Dit is een geweldige plek om heel dicht bij deze kalme reuzen foto's te maken en vervolgens te wandelen om de lavatunnels te observeren
Uiteindelijk komen we aan in Puerto Ayora, het bevolkte gebied van Santa Cruz, waar onze gids je bij je hotel zal achterlaten.

Bij aankomst op de luchthaven van Baltra wacht onze gids op u met een gemakkelijk herkenbaar bord met uw naam om u te helpen bij de transfer van de luchthavenuitgang naar het Itabaca-kanaal, hier neemt u de veerboot om over te steken naar het eiland Santa Cruz waar onze privé voertuig staat voor u klaar. Ons eerste bezoek is het reuzenschildpaddenreservaat waar we ze in hun natuurlijke staat kunnen observeren, en dan een interessante wandeling maken in de lavatunnels, nieuwsgierige formaties waarin we meer te weten kunnen komen over de geschiedenis en vorming van de eilanden. Ten slotte zal onze gids u naar uw accommodatie begeleiden.

Due to a sudden black out in our residential area, we decided to stay out for 01 night and made a last-minute booking at Amagi Aria Negombo. Since we had visited this hotel twice in the past few months, we didnt think twice, to call the hotel to make a quick booking. Once we reached the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the very kind gesture, of the hotel RM, Mr Dinesh, who had instructed the front desk to upgrade us, to a Delux Premium room and it was the same room we stayed during our last visit! We would like to say a big thank you the Front Desk team (sadly I dont remember there names), for providing us a warm welcome and attending to a smooth check in/out, since we were so exhausted and tired when we arrived, after the power outage at our residence. On a very special note, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Dinesh the Resident Manager, who went out of his way to make us feel very comfortable and relaxed through out our stay. Also a very big thank you, to Chef Manjula and his kitchen team, for the fabulous food that was offered during our stay. We immensely enjoyed our short stay, in the delux premium room as it was spacious, clean, very comfortable and had a balcony with a great lagoon view! We are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone, who wish to enjoy nice food, relax and chill out, either for a short or long stay, as it is located very conveniently, between Negombo town and the Katunayake airport and has easy access to Katunayake express way too! We had an amazing big day!! What a wonderful welcome to the Galápagos Islands!! Everything was taken care of for us so no need to worry about bus and ferry tickets or luggage, explored despite the rain (and kept the luggage totally dry) and got to visit the tortoise reserve!!! Thank you again for a wonderful introduction to the Galapagos!!!
Please note that on arrival in Baltra you expect a slow process at the airport and that an expensive fee is payable to enter
Well organized and awesome experience. My only negative comment is that this is well overpriced for what it is, but if you want a hassle-free experience, then this is perfect. Our guide, Jefferson, was super friendly and informative, and overall a great pleasure.
This tour made getting from the airport in Baltra to Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz a breeze! Jefferson my guide was friendly and knowledgeable! Wonderful experience to see the tortoises, los gemelos and lava tunnels along the ride.

This is an excellent way to transfer from the Baltra airport and experience the Galapagos on Day 1! It was just my college-age daughter and myself for this private transfer. Andres and the driver, Jose, met us at baggage claim and made the process of bus, ferry and water taxi so easy because we just had to follow them - any fees were taken care of. Andres was very knowledgeable about the island. Seeing the giant tortoises so close was incredible and very special by having a private guide to tell us about them and their contributions to the island. The lava tunnels are in the same location and also a great experience. It was raining pretty hard but they give you rain boots. So happy we booked this!
