Wij boeken vooraf treinkaartjes voor u en sturen u de e-versie van het ticket. Wij informeren u over de treintijd en alle details via e-mail of telefoon. Wat zou je moeten doen? U hoeft alleen maar ons pakket te boeken dat u nu zoekt. Deel al uw wensen zodra u het pakket boekt. Houd er rekening mee dat in geval van onbeschikbaarheid van de gevraagde treintijd of stoelklasse, wij de volgende beste optie voor u regelen. Als u niet flexibel bent om te wijzigen, vermeld dit dan bij de reservering.

Total scam - the actual value of the ticket is $9 (it was printed on the ticket) - I paid $36 on here!!!!!! I get you need a mark up for the booking fee and what not, but 300%? That’s an actual joke.
There are extra fees to get reserved seats for last minute reservations. You have ordered 2 days before and we have provided a Reserved Seat for you. You need to understand that booking platforms are charging fees for commissions, marketing and all. As the tour operator, we charge for transport and our service charges. Therefore if you don't like to pay for it, you can come to railway station and get a so called ticket and go standing in a crowded compartment without having a seat. So its up to you to decide what you want to have.
Our tour operator booked this train as it gets booked up quickly . Do take water & snack with you although they come round selling tea coffee , fruit ,nuts (cash only ) I agreed left side has better views but you can go stand near doors to outside .Hold on as it gets bumpy be careful if you lean out to take photo !! A nice trip with Mountain View’s does get busy .
Nice train trip, the booking via Viator was easy and I received the Eticket well in advance! Everything went smoothly on the Dday.
The tickets arrived the next day via mall. Everything is agreed. Very good and fast communication.
Booking was very easy but we received electronic tickets via WhatsApp only few hours before the journey. To make comfort better to send tickets three days before the journey via email as well as WhatsApp.
The train ride itself was not that spectacular and I think it's just become the thing to do in Sri Lanka. Getting the tickets was also stressful as there was no communication from the agent until I chased him twice. I was also only informed the day before that the station I was going to get the train from had been damaged and I needed to go from another station and quickly needed to arrange transportation. Really not impressed with the customer communication.
We have informed you about the railway track damages on 25th February through WhatsApp and email. Its over 2 weeks before your travel date. And clearly sent all necessary details through email, which you must check as mentioned in the tour page.
Very expensive for the seats you're awarded. You get 10 times cheaper by buying it at the train station itself.
Well, if you want you can pay some extra and have a reserved seat. If you don't want a reserved seat, you can buy a cheap unreserved ticket on the station and able to take the train by stand and probably be packed in a crowded compartment. Therefore its up to you to choose.
Scenic train in the countryside of Sri Lanka, really very beautiful and suggestive; ask the train manager for the photo outside the train door.
The views are beautiful. Beautiful experience. Reason I gave 3 stars is the price. I paid €61 for two first class tickets (where there are no doors and windows open) while doing it directly at the station the same morning for second class (much nicer) I would have paid €1.37 for two tickets. The tickets you get on same day morning from railway station is not for RESERVED SEATS. You can get Second or Third class UN RESERVED tickets to go by standing. What you have paid to get RESERVED SEAT'S TICKETS. The total you are paying included service charges, ticket price, taxes and booking platform charges. Thanks
We were looking for tickets and found them here. There's a price to pay. The text read: You can either go to Badulla Central Station or get off at Ella. The ticket was only issued and valid until Ella (maybe this is now corrected). The conductor let us continue for a small tip. Overall, however, good service and tickets to WhatsApp in advance.
