Amazing class! Spent time going to the market which was really cool! Explained the cheese, breads, fruit. Then we cooked which was super fun!! He's a great chef! We had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend!!!

This was an excellent cooking class. I’ve taken cooking classes in a couple of countries, but this might be my favorite. The communication was clear and recipes were delicious. Our guide, Ronal, had carefully orchestrated the instructions and timing of all of the cooking processes so that we were engaged for the duration of the almost 4 hr class. There was a brief history of cooking in Peru and contributions from other cultures. Then we went to the market and did some shopping which was very entertaining and informative. We learned to chop and dice in the proper way. We learned which limes to use for cooking as opposed to drinking. The ceviche recipe was packed with interesting ingredients, not found in a traditional ceviche. It was delicious.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide was friendly, funny, and full of knowledge of the culture & cuisine of the area. Learning about the markets around town, some local cuisine and how to prepare them was a true highlight of the trip. I highly recommend doing this.

This was a really nice class. I enjoyed the market tour and all the fruits and cheeses we got to try at the start of the class. The host was so lovely. A great experience for the price. You have a drink included and an appetizer and dinner and just a fun learning experience for like $50 usd. Highly recommend

review Wow! Our kids absolutely loved this experience, ranking it their second favorite activity of our Peru trip — only thing they enjoyed more was seeing capybaras in the jungle. The market tour was super interesting and we absolutely loved tasting all of the Peruvian fruits and local cheeses. The class itself was much more in depth than I expected. We prepared the whole meal from chopping vegetables to flambéing the lomo saltado on the stove. It turned out to be a really good meal, and the maracuya pisco sours we made (mocktails for the kids) were the best pisco sours we had in Peru. The instructor had a good sense of humor and did a great job leading the class in both English and Spanish. He also did a really good job with our kids, who were the only students under 18 in the class. We can’t wait to have our friends over for dinner to make all of the dishes we learned to cook in this class. A fun and interactive way to learn about Cusco and Peruvian culture. It was also very nice that everyone prepared their own portions, so the meal was completely customizable for each student. My daughter was able to make a vegetarian ceviche while the rest of the family made a meat dish.

Overall, fun cooking experience. The food and drinks we created were quite tasty and enjoyable. The instructor took us to the local market to buy the ingredients. He explained the Peruvian ingredients and made the overall cooking very enjoyable.

The market your and the cooking class were outstanding! I learned a lot about the local markets and had the opportunity to try so many tasty local fruits, breads, etc. The cooking class was quite easy to follow, and you won’t ever get too far behind. The cocktails are a solid plus too. I 100% recommend this tour and cooking class!!

Learned so much about Peruvian ingredients and cooking with a knowledgeable, clearly experienced chef. 10/10, highly recommend. Also provided helpful tips and agua de florida to help with altitude sickness.
