The experience was amazing. Simon and her mother were amazing. The place was lovely, the class was amazing and the food was a bless. We highly recommend of this workshop!
The entire family was so friendly and so welcoming. A few days before, Simona texted me directly giving train directions, and also confirmed the day of. Her father Antonio met us at the station and drove us directly to their beautiful home. Simona and her mother Carolina taught us how to make homemade Tiramisu, Gnocchi, and Fettucine. Carolina made her special sauce for the pasta, and Simona, her pesto for the gnocchi. The whole family was so warm and conversational we immediately felt like old friends. This afternoon with them is the highlight of our trip. If we are ever in Como, we would book another class with them.
Simone and Carolina were wonderful hosts and teachers. Our group of 4 was instructed in pasta making and preparing tiramisu. We were entertained by Simone's intelligence and wit. And our pasta was elevated by Carolina's sauces.
We began our 3 day visit to Lake Como with this cooking class. It was the best way to start our visit. Carolina and Simona were so welcoming and a wealth of information about the area. Their instructions about traveling to their home and preparing 2 types of pasta and tiramisu were efficient and clear. We had so much fun preparing the meal and eating it in their beautiful home. This evening far exceeded our expectations and was definitely a highlight of our Lake Como visit! Even the non cook in the family enjoyed it!
Whilst in Como, myself and mum booked a ravioli pasta class. From start to finish the experience was fantastic. We were greeted by Carolina and Simona at the train station, then back to theirs to make the pasta! We first learnt how to make the dough and fill them with the filling, both hosts were fantastic teachers, helping us learn the right techniques and tips for the perfect pasta. Once we cut them out, we went through and enjoyed a glass of wine with other guests whilst our pasta was cooked and served up with a delicious sauce. We then enjoyed the meal we made together, whilst we chatted and finished the wine. The whole experience was so much fun and very tasty, the hosts are so welcoming and knowledgeable! Absolutely recommend trying this out whilst in Como.
It was really wonderful to be at the place of Carolina and Simona and cook together such good pasta and tiramisu. The personality of both made it very individual, familiar and inspiring. And we definitely will cook the recipes at home. — one special plus: the apartment is climated, so it was not to hot even if there were 36 degrees outside. And view from the building was amazing.
This was by far the best experience we had in Italy ❤️ food was fantastic but the best part was meeting Simona and her mom Carolina. Simona was very fun sharing the Italian culture and stories about their family. Definitely recommend this cooking experience in Como
We had an amazing pasta-making experience during my bachelor party weekend in Italy. We received a very warm welcome and felt comfortable from the start. The class was fun, well organized, and a truly memorable experience. Making our own pasta and enjoying it afterward was the perfect highlight. Highly recommended😍
We attended this ravioli-making class on May 24th as part of a friend‘s bachelorette celebration, and it was a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed into their home by Simona and her mother Carolina, who guided us through the entire class. The experience was not only informative but also incredibly fun. We genuinely learned how to make ravioli from scratch, and sharing the meal together afterwards was the perfect ending. What stood out most was the family‘s kindness and hospitality. Simona and Carolina made us feel completely at home, and you can truly feel the passion and love they put into this experience. For us, it was a 10/10 experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for something special to do in Como.
This pasta course was a highlight! From the first minute, I felt at home. The leader was warm, open, and always available for a conversation. You could talk to her about anything, which made the atmosphere even more personal and relaxed. I can only highly recommend this course.
