Tour & wijnproeverij-authentieke Sabores Algarvios, Quinta da Tôr

It was much busier than we expected, we’ve done a lot of vineyards in the past but this is very commercial, not really wine tasting per se, but a bar and pool, with every table full, a 30 minute talk (which to be fair was very good), but not very high class and felt a bit basic. Not luxury. Wine was ok - not the best we’ve had in Portugal, we didn’t take any home.

Excellent! We love wines and good regional wine always shake our hearts! Very good experience! (So good that we came back 2x after the wine tasting) I recommend

Each of the hosts made a point of coming to our table. Checking in with us through out the tasting and offering suggestions as to how else to spend our time while visiting the beautiful country side. It was so warm welcoming and inviting. We had several tapas another sampling of wine and then enjoyed the tour. We stayed a bit longer took photos poolside and departed with intentions of bringing our adult children back next summer to renew our vows. The scenery was gorgeous the hospitality unmatched we will revisit before week end while still here in tavira.

Great visit. Knowledgible guide and not too long a tour. Lovely experience with the added bonus of time by the pool, soaking up the beautiful views across the hillside. We organised the trip ourselves directly via their own website. Just did the basic package with extra tapas for 5 adults. Arranged our own uber there and back to our villa. All in all a great afternoon out.

Fantastic afternoon learning a little about the history of the vineyard and wine making. This was followed with fabulous wines, tapas and a dip in the pool.

Absolutely brilliant experience at the winery! Our guide Karina was incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, making the visit both enjoyable and informative. We spent a few relaxing hours there, having cheese board, tasting excellent wines and unwinding by the swimming pool. It was the perfect, chill afternoon. Highly recommended

The experience was great from the start to finish. Arrived to a table ready for us, water was easy to get in the heat. We then went on a tour with Carina which was both exciting and a lot of fun. Carina is knowledgeable, personable and funny. The afternoon concluded with some delicious wines and a dip in the pool. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Had a fantastic day out with a large group of friends, the winery did an amazing job accommodating us! I would like to provide an extra thanks to like group guide Carina, she provided an incredible tour full of information and laughs, thank you Corina for such a great experience!!

The tour was relatively short but informative. The young lady who led it was very knowledgable and enthusiastic though sometimes she spoke quite quickly and we didn’t catch the odd thing she said. The wines were lovely. The staff who served the individual tables explained each wine and were very friendly. There was one lady however who dealt with the money side of things for those who had additional drinks/food. Her manor towards me was not what I expected and I was taken aback by abruptness. The place itself was beautiful with wonderful scenery and a few pools for visitors to stay and enjoy. Sadly we didn’t get taken into the vineyards but overall it was a great relaxing way to spend a few hours. We felt the experience was worth the reasonable charge. We will return. Thanks.
