Tour Wicklow Mountains National Park in een limousine met privégids

Onze tour door Wicklow omvat prachtige landschappen, historische gebouwen, tuinen, meren - of wat je maar wilt, onder leiding van een lokale gids. We bezoeken kleine dorpjes, berggebieden, statige huizen en misschien wel mijn familieboerderij in de Wicklow Mountains! We kunnen Powerscourt Gardens bezoeken (toegangsprijs hier) of Russborough House (toegangsprijs hier), door Wicklow Mountains National Park rijden en de vallei van Glendalough verkennen. Hier bezoeken we de ruïnes van de kloosterstad, gesticht door St Kevin, en bekijken we enkele van de zeven kerken en de beroemde ronde toren. Als u van wandelen houdt, kunnen we rond beide meren lopen en genieten van het dramatische landschap en het prachtige bos. Ook maken we tijd voor een lekkere lunch in een van de leuke pubs of restaurants in Wicklow. Of een pintje op weg naar huis....! Ik kan jouw dag aanpassen - stuur me een bericht als je mij boekt en we maken een goed plan!

Deze 47 hectare grote tuinen zijn door National Geographic beoordeeld als nr. 3 ter wereld en zijn adembenemend, zowel in de zomer als in de winter. Met meren, beelden, bloemen en bijzondere bomen is dit een tuin voor iedereen! Ik zal je vergezellen op een rondleiding, tenzij je alleen wilt zijn!
We rijden door Wicklow Mountains National Park, dichtbij waar ik ben opgegroeid. Verwacht met heide bedekte bergen, diepe donkere meren, gevoed door bergstromen, en prachtige uitzichten. Dit gebied is het decor geweest voor veel films - PS I love you, Vikings, Valhalla en nog veel meer.
We zullen de ruïnes van de kloosterstad bezichtigen en veel van de kerken hier bezoeken. Als u zin heeft in een wandeling, lopen we vervolgens de vallei in om de twee meren en het adembenemende landschap te bekijken. Glendalough betekent 'de vallei van twee meren' - het zou zonde zijn om ze niet allebei te zien!

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ik kan je ophalen bij je hotel, de haven van Dublin of een treinstation. We zullen de ontmoetingsplaats onderling regelen als we corresponderen. Mijn auto is een volledig gelicentieerde en verzekerde limousine. In Ierland moeten alle auto's die passagiers vervoeren tegen betaling of tegen betaling een SPSV-vergunning hebben, een speciale schijf en een speciale verzekering hebben, en van een bepaalde standaard zijn. Mijn auto is een Mercedes uit de E-klasse, met twee stoelen voorin en drie achterin, en kan comfortabel vier passagiers vervoeren.

Dairine is an excellent tour guide. My son and I enjoyed learning more about the areas history as well as enjoying a wonderful hike with scenic views. We were looking for someone to take us around to check out family roots. We knew a bit, but not much, she did her homework beforehand and guided us to obscure churches and graveyards related to our search. She expertly drove on twisty turny back roads without a flinch. She took us the scenic routes when she could and my goodness, they were scenic!! She took us to counties and towns where the Leesons lived almost 200 years ago. It was a revelation! We even went to a 12th century Abby she'd never even been to, so she was really into it. To top it off we went to Huntington Castle which was a nice surprise and totally gorgeous. She made potty stops and coffee/ tea/ cake stops. And topped it all off with a beer at the dearest little pub. Oh! and she picked us up and dropped us off in a lovely luxury car. It was a perfect day. Don't hesitate to let Dairine make your special day REALLY special.

We spent two wonderful days with Dairine touring Dublin and Wicklow. She picked us up right where we were staying and took us on a lovely tour through Wicklow. The weather was tricky that day but Dairine was flexible and able to make our day magical even with some rain and wind. We toured the amazing Powerscourt Estate which was such a delight. Dairine is a wealth of information and a fantastic guide.

Dairine was awesome, she picked us up at the Cruise port on time in her very comfortable Mercedes. We had a nice drive to Powerscourt and she personally guided us through the amazing garden. We visited many other beautiful places in County Wicklow, lakes, mountains and historic places and had a delicious lunch at a very nice restaurant. She even arranged for us to visit a sheep farm and witness the gentleman and his sheep dogs work his sheep. Dairine’s personal knowledge of the area and the people made our day special. As a lifelong resident of the area, you feel her passion for County Wicklow.and the mountains. She also has a very good understanding of Dublin. We would definitely select her again and recommend to friends traveling to Dublin
