Restaurant The Rock is een wereldberoemd restaurant, dat niet alleen bekend is vanwege zijn uitzonderlijke ligging maar ook vanwege het fantastische eten, dat geïnspireerd is door de natuurlijke rijkdommen, een combinatie van Zanzibarische en Italiaanse liefde. Restaurant The Rock bevindt zich in het zuidoosten, op het schiereiland Michamwi Pingwe. De Blue Lagoon ligt vlak bij het schiereiland Michamvi, snorkelen is afhankelijk van het getijde, daarom is het altijd nodig om de getijden te controleren. Met eb heeft u meestal beter zicht en met kalm water zijn het koraal en de vissen onder water beter zichtbaar en is het ook beter zwemmen. De turquoise-blauwe wateren nodigen de fanatieke watersporter uit voor een fantastische verkenning van de tropische vissen en riffen! U begeeft zich onder de tropische vissen, er is een overvloed aan kleurrijke kleine vissen: papegaaivissen, koraalduivels, zebravissen, trekkervissen, zeebarbelen, kornetvissen, palingen, eekhoornvissen, doktersvissen, blauwe zeekarpers, gele koffervissen, vlindervissen en nog veel meer.

The Rock Restaurant: We reserveren de tafel voor de klanten, het is hun beslissing om te lunchen. Het is een Ala Carte Restaurant, betaling wordt ook geaccepteerd met creditcards.

Omdat we onze klanten gratis annulering aanbieden tot 24 uur vóór aanvang van de tour, kunnen we ons deze niet-restitueerbare voorwaarde van het restaurant niet veroorloven. Vanaf nu laten wij de tafelreservering over aan de klanten zelf. De klanten zijn verplicht om alleen een tafel om 12.00 uur te reserveren

So much advertising we were negative from the beginning. Nevertheless, we booked dinner 2 months before our arrival, in the exterior of the restaurant. Enchanting access, perfect food for Zanzibar, incredible atmosphere!
The rock restaurant. We wold highly recommend pay a visit to the rock during your stay in zanzibar. We had an amazing lunch there with a unique combination of brilliant local and high quality food
A dream!! A spectacular place, the dishes were exquisite, quality ingredients, fresh fish, all prepared with care! I found the low tide but all around it was a wonderful picture!! I think it is one of the most spectacular and special places I have ever seen!
We were really looking forward to the experience of eating at the Rock. We were really disappointed - overrated tourist trap!!! Struggled to enter the restaurant due to tourists - who were not diners - wanting to take photos on the steps/entrance of the restaurant. We felt we were herded in and out of the restaurant, they have 5 sittings a day !!!!! - two hours apart:( A great money making scheme from a business point of view - but certainly not a personal culinary or Special experience from A diners point of view. I ordered Seafood pappardelle - not a prawn to be seen!!! The waitress informed me that it was actually fish sauce not seafood - disappointed to say the least - awful, could have cooked better myself :(
Disappointed or number of boats docked that prevents swimming under risk of bathing in an ocean of gasoline. Memories are very expensive on the island. They see in us a blue card on legs. A tip, choose the side of Zanzibar where the beach is beautiful and makes you want to swim.
A beautiful evening with very good food and great, friendly service. The location is simply spectacular! We will never forget this evening!
We booked a half day tour with this company a month in advance. At 6:30pm the night prior they cancelled the tour with no explanation. They did refund our money. Do not recommend as unreliable.
