Tour van een halve dag naar de Vesuvius van Pompeii met de bus

Vesuvius, de nog actieve vulkaan die in 79 na Christus. vernietigde het oude Pompeii. De Vesuvius heeft zijn charme en verdient het om bezocht te worden. Er is elke dag een groepstransfer mogelijk vanuit Pompeii die aankomt bij de ingang van de Vesuvius-krater (1000 m hoogte). Vanaf daar heeft u met het toegangsbewijs dat u voor vertrek ontvangt toegang tot de klim van ongeveer 300 meter. om het hoogste punt van de vulkaan te bereiken en zowel het adembenemende landschap als de binnenkant van de krater te bewonderen. Het bezoek is gratis, daarna ontmoeten we elkaar op het afgesproken tijdstip op het punt van aankomst om terug te keren naar Pompeii. Echt een unieke ervaring!! Op de terugweg bieden andere haltes de tijd om foto's te maken vanuit verschillende gezichtspunten. Het Vesuviuspark is rijk aan natuurlijke hulpbronnen, de geschiedenis van de vulkanologie, adembenemende landschappen, eeuwenoude teelten en tradities die het Vesuviusgebied tot een van de meest fascinerende en meest bezochte plaatsen ter wereld maken.

Excursie: vertrek vanuit Pompeii met een comfortabele minibus om een hoogte van 1000 meter te bereiken. We nemen je mee door Vesuvio National Park (opgericht in 1995), dat ook een UNESCO-biosfeerreservaat is. De reisroute omvat vrije tijd om de krater te bezoeken. Op het hoogste punt profiteert u van een spectaculair uitzicht over de hele regio. Op de terugweg bieden andere stops tijd om foto's te maken vanuit verschillende gezichtspunten.

We arrived in good time for a 3pm departure as printed on the voucher to be told the buses had departed at 1.30pm so we missed the trip. We were promised a refund as there was no mention anywhere in the documentation of the earlier departure. We booked another trip for the following day but unfortunately conditions were not as good the next day on Vesuvius so there were no views from the top.

The actual top of Vesuvius was incredible but paying all that money for the bus ride there... hmmmmm not sure about that. Plus, when I bought the tickets it said anyone under 18 pays the child price. I put my son's birthdate in and paid for 2 adult tickets and 1 child. When we got to the tour they gave us an upcharge of 20 Euros because they said I paid the incorrect amount for my son. Well, I paid what was on the Viator website! So we paid it but that was annoying. So overall, you're asking me to rate the tour which was basically just a bus ride. We had to hike up the volcano side on our own, no guide. Just told to meet back at the bus at a certain time. So this "Tour" is really bus fare and entry fee to the volcano, which I was upcharged for on the day of.

Great value trip. Minibus from central Pompeii to the coach park then a 45 minute (hard but well worth it) to the crater for excellent views.

We were very excited to see Mt Vesuvius. Unfortunately due to rain and fog the tour was canceled. We understand the weather can't be controlled. But they took 30 min to tell us that we were not going. Unfortunately by that time we were out of options. Thank you
