Een warm welkom van onze operators wacht op u bij het inchecken.De eerste stop zal Alberobello zijn, beroemd om zijn trulli, kleine huizen in kalksteen gebouwd op droog. Dankzij onze dépliant en interactieve webpagina (ITA,ENG,F,D,ESP) kunt u het dorp op een slimme en eenvoudige manier zelfstandig verkennen. De trollen en hun konijnige daken zullen u verrassen met hun unieke geschiedenis. Na afloop heeft u vrije tijd om te winkelen en lokale lekkernijen te proeven in de typische winkels. Na ongeveer 1,20 uur reizen bereiken we Matera, waar onze Pasquale-gids u op de bus verwelkomt en u de geheimen en de geschiedenis van de stad en de inwoners onthult, waardoor u een boeiende ervaring krijgt. De reis zal aan boord van een comfortabele Gran Turismo bus, geleid door een ervaren chauffeur, om elke reis aangenaam en serene te maken. Onze eerste stop is Alberobello, die je kunt verkennen in de drie uur vrije tijd die je tot je beschikking hebt. Wist je dat de trulli, de zeer beroemde bakstenen gebouwen van de stad, in 1996 tot werelderfgoed zijn verklaard? Tijdens ons gratis bezoek aan Alberobello kunt u de basiliek van San Cosma e Damiano of de kerk van Sant'Antonio da Padova bezoeken. Uiteraard mag je de Siamese en Sovrano trulli en de wijken Rione Aia Piccola en Rione dei Monti niet missen.
Onze gids neemt je mee naar het prachtige Matera. Je hebt ook wat vrije tijd om van de dag te genieten.

Great day out and I would highly recommend! The only problem was that it wasn't long enough! I want to go back to Matera to fully visit it. I was interested in a tour of and experiencing Matera so I booked this. Alberobello was just a nice bonus add-on for me but it was still pretty. Alberobello was just some nice houses and very small, once you've seen it, then that's it. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a guided tour for Alberobello. Matera however is huge and totally worth it! I felt like I was stood on sacred ground. It is an ancient and very fascinating town. I recommend the guided tour. Our tour guide, Cosomo, was very knowledgeable and would answer any questions participants had. The coach was also a smooth ride. The air-conditioning functioned but wasn't the best but better than nothing. Enough leg room and comfortable seats.

The experience was lovely. The bus was clean and comfortable. The drivers and guides were professional. The amount of time at each location was just right for a first time experience. It was a good value for the price.

IT was not a tour, IT was only a transport for 55 eur (bus ticket would cost less then 10eur) we had to walk about 10 min just to reach the site.The guide was AI speaking in few languages in the bus. I felt betrayed and despaired. Avoid Smart Tours!
It was a well-organized excursion to very worth seeing goals, of which Matera made the greatest impression.
Good day tour of both wonderful towns. I would have loved more time in each town. Maybe spending one day on each place.
Overall tour was excellent. Driver Nico did an outstanding job, I felt secure and safe as we traveled. First stop in Alberobello was ok. I did the self guided tour and truthfully this is the reason I rated the tour a 4. Because we got there in the morning, I was done walking around before most food places were open. I ended up walking around aimlessly for over an hour. Suggest maybe less time or later departure. Matera was fantastic. Lot to see and the guide Pascal(?) was great. Be prepared to walk a lot, up and down hills.
Reception and punctuality at the departure.Bus , clean and quiet. Driver with "smooth" and safe driving. Beautiful Alberobello and Matera. The guide, Pasquale, engaging and friendly, responds flexibly to needs (eg urgent need for toilets, cafes, restaurants...) and any questions. A really nice organization, from the first contact on social to the final greeting. I highly recommend!
Although the weather wasn't the greatest, we had a fantastic day out. The location for pick up in Bari was very easy to locate and the pre tour briefing was very thorough. The bus took us to the historic towns of Alberobello and then onto Matera. The driver of the bus (can't remember his name) was great and ensured everyone was comfortable. The guide at Matera (Pasquale) was great and explained everything in great passion and detail.

I liked that Matera’s guide was exclusively for speaking Spanish. Very complete his explanations of the sassis
