Geniet van een dagtocht naar drie van de meest iconische bestemmingen van Toscane: Montalcino, de thuisbasis van de beroemde Brunello-wijn; Pienza, bekend om zijn Pecorino-kaas; en Montepulciano, bekend om zijn prestigieuze Nobile-wijn. Reis door de Val d'Orcia, die op de UNESCO-lijst staat, aan boord van een premium minibus met airconditioning, een Engels sprekende chauffeur en gratis water. 08:30 UUR: Maak kennis met onze Engelstalige chauffeur en laat de tour beginnen!
09:45 AM: De eerste stop is in een groot wijnhuis in Montalcino... De wijnmakerij is eigendom van een lokale familie en, praten met hen, zul je niet het gevoel hebben om hun werkplek te bezoeken, maar hun huis in plaats daarvan!...U komt alles te weten over Brunello di Montalcino: de technieken van de wijngaard, het wijnbereidingsproces, de rijping en natuurlijk hoe u deze kunt waarderen door verschillende jaargangen te drinken!
11:30 AM: Geniet van een korte stop van 15 minuten om te genieten van het kasteel di Montalcino en het kleine stadscentrum.
12:15PM: Aangekomen in Pienza, een Pauselijk dorp dat beroemd is om zijn Pecorino kaas, krijgt u de kans om te genieten van een superieure lunch in een ex-klooster van de 15e eeuw en wat vrije tijd.
2:45PM: Hier zullen we worden geleid door een historische kelder genaamd "The underground city" die zich beneden van een lokale wijnwinkel bevindt. Bij de uitgang van de ondergrondse stad wordt u begroet door een proeverij van wijn en andere spijsspecialiteiten. Voordat u vertrekt zorgen wij ervoor dat u genoeg tijd heeft om het centrale plein te bezoeken, geplaatst op de top van de stad, vanwaar u de laatste foto's kunt maken!

Beautiful scenery, lots of hilly walking, lots of time in 2 wineries & eating lunch. Villages exquisite but too much time on other pleasures

We had a great day. Mike was our driver and very knowledgeable with history and explained many things as we went from town to town. The wineries chosen were great! The guides there were wonderful, took their time to explain everything. We really enjoyed the experience.

We had a great experience! Our driver Sal was friendly, engaging and personable. He gave us lots of interesting facts about the area and was prompt and careful to make sure we knew what was going on. Our only issue was there was a little too much emphasis on the wine tasting and not enough time to see and explore the towns of Pienza and Montepulciano. The drive by Montalcino was no more than a “drive by” to get to the winery. We would suggest a little better balance between the exploring the hill towns and the wineries.
