Het is een unieke ervaring in de wereld: er zijn niet veel actieve moddervulkanen die toegankelijk zijn voor toeristen. Een heerlijke sensatie: drijven in de modder is een buitengewone ervaring. Voordelen voor de huid: modder is rijk aan natuurlijke mineralen. Culturele interactie: direct contact met lokale gemeenschappen die traditionele diensten aanbieden. Ideaal voor foto's en sociale media: een zeer opvallende en unieke plek. Een korte activiteit die makkelijk te combineren is met andere plannen in Cartagena.

De klokkentoren is het ontmoetingspunt; het is de hoofdingang naar het ommuurde gedeelte van het historische centrum. Het is het eerste ophaalpunt vanaf 8:00 uur en eindigt in het noordelijke gebied, waarbij de hotelzones van de stad worden bestreken.
Transfer naar de moddervulkaan per bus of minibus met airconditioning.
In de moddervulkaan kun je genieten van een geweldige moddertherapie, waar je kunt ontspannen en genieten van de aangename sfeer, daarna gaan ze naar de Ciénaga waar ze de modder zullen verwijderen en baden, ze zullen naar het voertuig worden geleid om door te gaan met de tweede deel van de excursie waar ze hun typische Cartagena-lunch zullen verkrijgen in een groot Eco-hotel, omringd door het recht om de Faciliteiten te gebruiken
Na de moddertherapie kunt u de modder afspoelen in het moeras, midden in de natuur.
Transfer van de moddervulkaan naar de Beach Club, waar u kunt lunchen en vrije tijd heeft.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De ophaalservice begint om 8:00 uur bij de klokkentoren (in dit gebied wachten we op mensen die in het historische centrum en Getsemani verblijven). Het volgende ophaalpunt is de sector Bocagrande, Castillo Grande en El Laguito, rond 8:20 - 8:30 uur. Volgende ophaallocatie: wijk El Cabrero en de omgeving van Marbella (ARA-winkel in Marbella, we wachten op mensen die in de buurt verblijven) 8:35 - 8:40 uur. Volgende noordelijke zone van Sky to Sea naar La Boquilla 8:45 - 9:00 En tot slot, winkelcentrum Las Ramblas tot 9:10 uur 's ochtends.

Samuel was the most excellent host. The mud volcano was quite a unique experience! Our family of four enjoyed our time at the volcano and also at Coco Beach Club for lunch and a relaxing two hours beside the pool prior to returning back to our hotel. Be advised that the services by the locals at the volcano are 10,000 cop per service per person in your group. For example, if you have someone take your picture and you are a family of four, it will cost you 40,000 cop in cash.
We had a really great time. Our guide helped us to navigate and communicate with the vendors at the mud volcano. Note, ensure to always confirm the price of any service before accepting.

This trip was very fun and exciting. The only scary part was going down the stairs. I am glad the host was organized. Lunch was really good time spent at the pool was relaxing.

This was an extremely memorable day for my mother and I. Our guide stayed with us the entire day and gave a clear run down on what to expect for day. From how much to tip the locals who were working the volcano ,even being a buffer to make sure we weren’t being overcharged, to what lunch and the pool day(dangerous beach conditions)would consist of. She was a gem and made a huge impact on how great the day went. This is such a great deal, make sure you book!

We had an awesome time and the experience was incredible. I definitely recommend definitely reach out after booking to verify pickup location and communication through WhatsApp. Also bring towel, bag, and bottle water.

A different kind of experience that you do once in your lifetime. The mud bath is crowded but still relaxing. While you are told the massages, cleaning and holding of items is optional it is not really so expect to pay 40000 pesos per person while you are there. Be sure to have cash. The beach following the mud bath is the same beach at Marbella. Not the cleanest but not the worst. There is a pool you can swim in as well. Lunch was decent.
