Beste gast, Deze tour combineert Moldavië’s rijke middeleeuwse geschiedenis perfect met zijn wereldberoemde wijncultuur in één onvergetelijke dag. Curchi Monastery – Spirituele Schoonheid Bezoek vervolgens het prachtige Curchi Monastery, een van de meest indrukwekkende kloosters van het land. Oude Orhei is de meest pittoreske en historisch belangrijke plaats in Moldavië. Bezoek het oude archeologische complex van Orhei en het middeleeuwse stadsmuseum, waar oude beschavingen, dramatische kalkstenen kliffen en het traditionele plattelandsleven samenkomen. Met veel plezier stellen wij u graag een bijzonder weekend voor kennismaking, waardering en proeverij van de beste Moldavische wijnen voor. Tijdens dit bezoek ontdekt u de smaken van verschillende wijnen en de heerlijke traditionele keuken. Vandaag bezoeken we een van de meest pittoreske plekken van Moldavië - het culturele en natuurlijke reservaat «Orheiul Vechi» (grotkloostercomplex) - 55 km van Chisinau. Hier ziet u een orthodox grotklooster genaamd "St. Maria Dormata ”is door de monniken door de eeuwen heen in de kliffen uitgebreid en gewijzigd en in een functionele staat bewaard gebleven. Na de excursie lunchen we met een volksprogramma in het Moldavische familiepension in het naburige dorp.

Het grote grondgebied van Old Orhei is gevuld met historische en archeologische vindplaatsen die u kunt verkennen. Bezoekers die gepassioneerd zijn door middeleeuwse architectuur en geschiedenis hebben de mogelijkheid om ruïnes en elementen van gebouwen, heilige plaatsen en citadellen te zien die zijn ontdekt na archeologische opgravingen. A very nice day tour, when you can see all the highlights of the region. We have a very nice and super friendly guide Corina.
It was a good tour - nice to travel outside of Chisinau. The first stop was a monastery complex which was very beautiful. The second stop was the monastery in the cave - there is an uphill walk and then stairs to walk down. Wear comfortable shoes. The landscape is very lovely. We then had lunch in a local place (separate cost) and the cheese pie was delicious. After there was an optional tour of Cricova. Make sure you take a hoodie or jacket as the tunnels are 12 degrees. Natalia our guide and Constantine our driver were great.

A gem of an experience! For some reason, we were in a group of 4 which made the tour super personalized and at a calm pace. The guide shared informative bytes about the history, culture and heritage of Moldova linked to the sites visited. The visit to the cave sanctuary was wonderful. The Cricova winery seemed to be fully booked for a tasting at the last minute, but the tour was still informative. The coordination was managed well by the agency. The lunch was delicious and very local. Card payments were accepted at all destinations. Driving was safe and on time as per the plan.

It’s my first trip to a country that is in Eastern Europe, I was a bit hesitant, but with Marcel and Liliya, everything was great! Although the weather was not perfect, Marcel did his best to ensure we would have a great experience. He got us coffee, took us to a traditional Moldovan restaurant, and he did his best. Note that he is a great multilingual! He knows Russian, Romanian, English, Italian, and even a couple of Arabic words! I would definitely recommend such an experience
