Terwijl je de innerlijke werking van de grootste Kamelenboerderij en -zuivel van Australië verkent, krijg je ook fascinerende inzichten in onze opmerkelijke Dromedaries. Wat te verwachten Kom van dichtbij bij onze vriendelijke kamelen, waaronder melkkamelen, spenen, drachtige kamelen en schattige babykamelen - een hoogtepunt voor bezoekers van alle leeftijden. Duik in de fascinerende geschiedenis van kamelen in Australië en hun vitale rol in het vormgeven van het land. Maak een wandeling door onze pittoreske boerderij en bezoek de Camel Dairy. Het vriendelijke personeel van Summer Land Camels zal u begeleiden op een rondleiding achter de schermen door de grootste kamelenboerderij en melkveebedrijf van Australië. - Leer meer over kamelen en de kamelengeschiedenis van Australië - Rondleiding door de beperkt toegankelijke voorzieningen - Meer informatie over wild/wild - Lees meer over kamelenmelk, de krachtige immuuneiwitten en hoe het de menselijke gezondheid ten goede komt als voeding en huidverzorging - Proef onze heerlijke Camel Milk-producten en ontdek hoe we de melk verwerken tot bekroonde kazen en gelato Weet voordat je gaat: - Dit is een rondleiding met live commentaar in het Engels die ongeveer 45 - 60 minuten duurt en u moet door het beperkte gedeelte van de boerderij lopen. - Als u de voorkeur geeft aan een meer 'hands-on' activiteit, boek dan onze Cameleer Experience - Kinderen moeten worden begeleid door ten minste één betalende volwassene binnen dezelfde boeking - Gelieve 15 minuten voor uw geboekte tijd aan te komen en in te checken bij de Farm Shop. This was a memorable experience and it is obvious that the staff are enthusiastic about the venture. Most of the camels have been brought in to the farm from Central Australia to save them from being culled. The animal handlers have many techniques for helping the camels adjust to the different environment on the farm. Inspiring!
Very informative tour and so many interesting things to learn about Camels. The tasting was excellent and meeting the Camels up close was the best bit. The rest of the farm was also excellent.
Excellent venue for a great experience. We booked the private tour, the farm was very busy so there was a bit of waiting time in the cafe for coffee when we arrived, but the tour of the gorgeous camels was very informative and the lunch that followed (with vodka tasting) was exceptional. All staff were friendly and helpful - we thoroughly enjoyed our day and will certainly return.

Highly recommended coming here for a close encounter with camels. My husband and I did the sunrise camel ride and breakfast package and was worth every cent. The staff are very knowledgeable- Katie and Joshua, Thank you. The camel pie is delicious, probably best pie we had in a while and the camel curry so delicious. You can also feed the camels too. Come with family or date. Will definitely come again and recommend!!!

A highlight of our time in Brisbane. Did the tour and tasting with 3 teenagers, fed the camels and tasted the vodka. A great morning which we loved.
Had a super fun time learning about an industry I didn’t know existed! We got to pat the baby camels which were adorable and our tour guide was hilarious. I’m lactose intolerant but “plot twist”… turns out camel milk is fine! We pigged out on ice cream and cheese after #noregrets
I have visited this place many times and had a great time with cafe staff been super helpful and friendly. However, booked a camel ride and it was the WORST customer experience I have ever had due to the Tour Manager going out of her way to repeatedly make her point and it was harassing. This distressed my disabled sister who wasn’t able to communicate very well. Recommend the Tour Manager get some training on effective communication and there is no need to be condescending and uppity.
At Summer Land Camels, the safety of our customers, camels, and staff is always our top priority. Due to the nature of our business, there are times when our team needs to provide visitors with guidance on where they can safely be to ensure everyone’s wellbeing and enjoyment. On this occasion, a member of our staff approached your sister with a simple and polite request. Unfortunately, her response was inappropriate, particularly given the family-friendly nature of our farm and the presence of children. The communication from our staff was neither harassing, disrespectful, nor condescending. However, we were surprised and concerned by the strong reaction our request received. We were disappointed by the language used, the raised voices, and the throwing of equipment during the interaction, as these actions do not align with the welcoming and safe environment we strive to maintain. Our team works passionately to share the beauty of our camels and farm with people from all backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. We hope you can understand our commitment to ensuring a positive experience for everyone on the farm, and we kindly ask for respect and cooperation in return.
The guided tour is absolutely worth it! The guide shared fascinating details about the farm's operations, providing great insight into its daily workings.
We 3 adults 2 New Zealanders late 60s and an Australian lady 80 visited the Camel Farm after seeing it advertised in the media We were keen to do a camel ride but on arrival at the farm were told that they didnt do rides on Wednesdays After talking to the person in the shop he said he would check with the camel handlers and meanwhile would we like something from the cafe which we did 10 minutes he was back saying that he had arranged for us to do the camel ride in an hours time We were elated and were met by Josh who took us to the camels Queenie Curly and Drover given helmets and mounted the camels All went well apart from when Drover decided he would be a little silly but this was solved when his trainer came down and he settled down We really enjoyed the experience It was something unique Something that people of all ages can do And it was value for money Although this was a good example of people promoting their business we appreciated how they went the extra mile for us as we were unable to come back another day We will and have recommended this experience to other travelers Well done The Camel Farm Mike Masterton New Zealand
What a great fun activity to learn about camels, with a stunning background. Emily and her beautiful daughter were the perfect hosts- knew everything about the production and made it fun to learn all things camels. We got a stunning winters day. Learnt fascinating facts about camel milk. Highly recommend the camel gelato salted caramel. Would definitely recommend this tour.
