Boek een geweldige tour in het oosten van Kreta om Agios Nikolaos te bezoeken, een klein stadje met een pittoreske haven, de thuisbasis van een van de twee zoetwatermeren van Kreta. Vervolgens verkennen we het oudste en meest pittoreske dorp van Kreta, genaamd 'Kritsa', amfitheater gebouwd op een rotsheuvel genaamd Kastellos. Kritsa ligt op een hoogte van 375 meter en wordt omgeven door olijfgaarden. Ons bezoek omvat 'Panagia Kera' om de belangrijkste muurschilderingen in Griekenland te zien. Vervolgens verkennen we 'Elounda', een klein vissersdorpje aan de noordkust van het eiland Kreta. Onze eindbestemming is het eiland 'Spinaloga', een Venetiaans fort gebouwd in 1579 en later gebruikt als leprakolonie

Ga verder naar Elounda, een sereen vissersplaatsje aan de noordkust van Kreta. Met zijn kristalheldere water, charmante haven en traditionele taverna's is Elounda ideaal om de mediterrane sfeer op te snuiven. Dit schilderachtige stadje is rijk aan geschiedenis en lokale cultuur en biedt een rustige stop om te ontspannen, foto's te maken en te genieten van het kustlandschap voordat u naar uw volgende bestemming gaat.
Vanuit Elounda maakt u een korte boottocht naar Spinalonga Island, een eiland met een rijke geschiedenis. Spinalonga was oorspronkelijk een Venetiaans fort gebouwd in 1579, maar werd later een leprakolonie, wat een onuitwisbare stempel drukte op de geschiedenis van Kreta. Verken de goed bewaarde vestingwerken, smalle straatjes en historische gebouwen en leer over de verhalen van de mensen die er woonden.

We had a great day out with our professional and courteous driver Giannis (John). He picked us up from the cruise port on time, spoke very good English and took us to Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga, Elounda and Heraklion. He was very patient and extremely flexible in the itinerary as we were supposed to go to Knossos but it was just too busy when we got there. He returned us to the ship on time. All 4 of enjoyed the trip and would recommend to everyone.
