Unieke kans om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis en sporen van de Borgia's in Valencia door het historische centrum van de stad, inclusief een bezoek aan de kathedraal en de heilige kelk. We beginnen de Borgia-route op Plaza Manises voor het paleis van de Generalitat Valenciana en geven een introductie over de twee pausen van deze Valenciaanse familie: Calixto III en Alexander VI.
We stoppen voor de oorspronkelijke gevel van deze kerk om details uit te leggen over het leven en dat van Alfonso de Borgia, die paus was onder de naam Calixto III
We bezoeken het hele interieur van de kathedraal van Valencia en beschrijven de werken die verband houden met de Borgia's en de beroemde Heilige Kelk. In het Museum zullen we de grandioze processiemonstrans zien.
Binnen in de basiliek bevindt zich de patroonheilige van Valencia: de Virgen de los Desamparados en zijn indrukwekkende barokke fresco's van de schilder Antonio Palomino uit het begin van de 18e eeuw.
We eindigen op de Plaza de San Lorenzo, waar het Borgia-paleis en het huidige hoofdkantoor van de Valenciaanse Cortes zich bevinden. Daar zullen we het uiteindelijke resultaat van het gezin toelichten.
