Ontdek een van Cambodja's meest spectaculaire natuurlijke uitkijkpunten bij Poeng Ta Kho, de beroemde Amazing Cliff bovenop de heilige Kulen-berg. Dit buitengewone uitzichtpunt biedt adembenemende panoramische vergezichten die zich eindeloos uitstrekken over uitgestrekte canyons, weelderige tropische bossen en glooiend landschap.
Stel je een 8 meter liggende Boeddha voor, uitgehouwen in de berghelling – we hebben het over 1000 jaar pelgrims die deze exacte klim maken die je gaat maken. Lokale families steken wierook aan, monniken bidden rustig en op de een of andere manier lijkt dat oude stenen gezicht de expressie te verschuiven met het veranderende licht. Spiritueel of niet, hier staan raakt gewoon anders.
Bezoek de Duizenden heilige vruchtbaarheidssymbolen die door 11e-eeuwse priesters in de eigenlijke rivierbedding zijn uitgehouwen – waardoor stromend water voor het hele Angkor-koninkrijk in wijwater wordt veranderd.
Na het verkennen van alle prachtige bezienswaardigheden, sluit u uw reis af met een ontspannen picknicklunch bij een ongerepte nabijgelegen waterval. Deze idyllische omgeving biedt de perfecte gelegenheid om te ontspannen onder het genot van heerlijk eten in een natuurlijk paradijs.
Na de lunch gaan we naar iets heel bijzonders. Beng Mealea Tempel is hoe Angkor Wat eruit zou kunnen zien als de natuur was overgelaten om het uiteindelijk terug te winnen. Gebouwd in de 12e eeuw, is deze tempel absoluut gehuld in jungle wijnstokken en massieve boomwortels. Het is rauw, authentiek en voelt alsof je de eerste persoon bent die het vindt.

We booked this trip for our last day in Cambodia and it was a great trip to see lots of siem reap after spending two days doing the temples of Angkor. Mr Mony was very knowledgeable and looked after us very well. I'm vegetarian and that wasnt a problem, I had a lovely vegetarian dish for lunch. My husband enjoyed his chicken dish. Mr Richard and Mr Mony text via WhatsApp to confirm itinerary and pick up times. Our tour coincided with water festival new year and I enjoyed being with local people whilst they celebrated. And Mr moon our driver was very good taking us to all the sites.

Went with Breska Travel and honestly, worth every cent. Mr. Mony's an absolute legend of a tour guide, super patient, knows his stuff, and even takes cracking photos.
