We gaan een lokaal dorp bezoeken met hun levende levensstijl, traditie, cultuur en hoe ze hun families beheren. Het doel van deze tour is om u de ervaring van lokale mensen met u te delen. We zullen een heel eind van het toeristische pad verwijderd zijn. We vertrekken om 8:00 uur en 14:00 uur vanuit de stad Siem Reap naar het dorp Kompong Pluk, op 31 km van de stad Siem Reap, wat ongeveer een uur duurt om daar te komen. Op weg naar dit dorp bezoeken we onderweg de lokale markt. Daarna vervolgen we onze reis naar Kompong Pluk Village. Houd er rekening mee dat het hoog of laag waterpeil afhankelijk is van het seizoen en dat dit dorp ongeveer 900 gezinnen heeft. Hoe u uw tijd ook doorbrengt, een bezoek aan het dorp Kompong Phluk en het Tonle Sap-meer is een unieke en onvergetelijke ervaring. Je krijgt een manier van leven te zien die aan het verdwijnen is, en je leert over het belang van dit belangrijke ecosysteem. We halen je op bij je hotel en gaan dan verder naar Kampong Phluk Village. We stoppen voor het kopen van de bootkaartjes en het toilet. Vervolgens reizen we om de boot te halen en bezoeken we het dorp tijdens de boottocht.
Tonle Sap Lake is het grootste meer als zoet water in het land van Zuidoost-Azië. Het is 200 kilometer lang en 50 kilometer breed.

This tour was so interesting. This is is a self sustained village that lives off of fishing and farming. Our guide, Tom, was outstanding! He taught us so much, and went out of his way to make our experience unique and amazing.

Wonderful experience. Our guide was very kind and the floating village was astonishing. The cocodrile restaurant in the middle of the lake was amazing and you can see real cocodriles as well as other animals.

It was great experience to join the tour, I joined a day tour for the Angkor Wat. The guide, Tom, is very knowledgeable and explains about the history and culture very well. I really enjoyed this tour and definitely recommend my friends if they have a chance to visit Siem Reap.

We had booked the early morning sunrise tour which was a great idea given the rapidly rising temperature and the amount of visitors on this day. The tuck tuck tuck us from the hotel to the not so distant temples and from one site to the next which gave a good experience of the surrounding area and a convenient way to limit the walking to the approaches to the sites themselves (still enough with a child and well over 30 degrees from 8am onwards). The tour guide Mr Thom San was making the visits much more meaningful by giving basic information as well as stories which brought the scenes to life. He knew all the hidden gems, cutting out the busiest parts and best perspectives to take in the breathtaking environment of ancient Khmer civilisation. A perfect experience!
