Met onze Reserved Access ga je rechtstreeks het Louvre binnen voor een kijkje in de fascinerende collectie. Uw 3 uur durende tour biedt tijd om enkele van de meest iconische schilderijen, sculpturen en architectuur van het museum te waarderen. Ga met je gids op reis van de ene adembenemende galerij naar de andere, spring door de geschiedenis en bewonder werken uit bijna 450 v.Chr. tot de 19e eeuw. Kleine groepsgroottes van niet meer dan 12 personen betekenen ook dat uw deskundige, Engelssprekende gids rondleidingen kan aanpassen aan elke individuele groep.

Ga mee met je kunsthistorische Gids en een kleine groep voor een rondleiding van 3 uur, waarbij je de belangrijkste werken van het Louvre verkent en verborgen juweeltjes ontdekt. Begin met de middeleeuwse fundamenten van deze oude koninklijke residentie en kijk vervolgens naar de sierlijke Venus de Milo. Ga verder naar de Apollogalerij, waar de sierlijke koninklijke kronen van Napoleon en koning Lodewijk XV staan, en laat je meeslepen door de dappere verhalen van deze onnavolgbare leiders. Bewonder de in steen gebeitelde liefde in Canova’s Psyche en Cupido en zie Delacroix’ beroemde schilderij van de Franse vrijheidsstrijd, Liberty Leading the People. Het werk van Michelangelo wacht op u in de Italiaanse beeldenzaal en u zult uit eerste hand ontdekken wat Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa het meest raadselachtige portret aller tijden maakt.

Our visit to the Louvre was made so much better by having our guide as part of a small group. The heat can take a toll - so summer travelers during the heatwave should be forewarned. We saw the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo’s, and so much more. Our guide, Florence, was incredibly knowledgeable and answered our questions while maintaining order in a somewhat chaotic environment. It would have been so overwhelming without her!
Maryam, our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing the information on the museum’s masterpiece. She seamlessly managed a couple participants with mobility issues. The tour is highly recommended to get the most from your visit to the Louvre and enjoy the experience without getting overwhelmed.

It is difficult to hear the guide with the electronic aid. It cuts out often, and the noise level makes understanding the guide very difficult. Because of that, we nearly missed half the tour. I suggested to the guide to occasionally say where she was located, giving some sort of reference point. Her reply was that she told us three times where she would be after visiting a specific exhibit. Problem is we did not hear that due to the noise and device cutting out as described above. Recommendation would be to require the guides to occasionally say where they are located in case someone gets lost (which happened to at least one of our party).
