De stadsmuren worden vaak ervaren als een schilderachtige wandeling. Deze tour benadert ze anders. Deze tour is niet ontworpen als een volledige historische tijdlijn of een snel overzicht, maar als een duidelijke en gestructureerde uitleg over hoe de stad zich verdedigde. In plaats van zich alleen te concentreren op uitzichten, wordt uitgelegd hoe Dubrovnik functioneerde als een versterkte staat — hoe de muren werden ontworpen, hoe ze evolueerden en hoe ze in de praktijk werden gebruikt. Fantastic tour of the city walls! Our guide was Davor (who, ironically, we had the day before for our city tour). It was wonderful to have Davor again as he could skip some of what we learned the day before and give us a deeper history of the walls and old town Dubrovnik. He was very knowledgeable about all the history and delivered into it in a way that kept you interested.

It was very nice we saw sites around all of Dubrovnik, I highly recommend. It is also great exercise so if you’re looking for that, I would definitely do it. He’s a very nice person too. I did the Game of Thrones tour and the walking tour. The Game of Thrones tour is very great, especially when you’ve seen the show. So if you ever go to Dubrovnik, definitely do this tour five stars.

Davor was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable on a wide range of the city history. Arranging the tour was very easy for our family of six, he was extremely communicative through the entire process.

Davor was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable of all Croatian history and very accommodating to my families needs. The tickets were not included, but he took us to the ticket office for purchase. A great tip, this ticket included access to many other sites/museums as well as the local bus. Walking the wall this time of year is hot! Bring water or enjoy several vendors along the way for rest and a cold drink.
