8:30 uur — Vertrek uit Beiroet Je Gids ontmoet de groep in je hotel en gaat naar het noorden — Jeita Grotto ligt op 30 minuten afstand en de dag begint ondergronds.
Begin je avontuur met een bezoek aan de adembenemende Jeita-grot, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie die bekend staat om zijn prachtige kalksteenformaties en ondergrondse rivier. Maak een magische boottocht door de lagere grot en verwonder je over de ingewikkelde stalactieten en stalagmieten die in de loop van miljoenen jaren zijn gebeeldhouwd. Stijg vervolgens naar de bovenste grot via een panoramische rit met de kabelbaan, waar u wordt getrakteerd op een panoramisch uitzicht op het omringende landschap voordat u de betoverende kamers van de grot gaat verkennen.
De Telepherique is een van de oudste en meest bezochte toeristische attracties in Libanon Het is een gondelliftsysteem in Jounieh, een stad in Libanon, 16 km ten noorden van Beiroet dat passagiers vervoert boven de met pijnbomen beboste steile berg, naar een hoogte van 650 meter, die aankomt bij het heiligdom van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Libanon in Harissa met adembenemende uitzichten van de baai van Jounieh en de omliggende stad.
Reis vervolgens naar het charmante bergdorpje Harissa, de thuisbasis van het iconische standbeeld van Onze Lieve Vrouw van Libanon. Dit torenhoge standbeeld, tegen de achtergrond van de Middellandse Zee, dient als een symbool van vrede en eenheid voor Libanon. Geniet van de panoramische vergezichten vanaf de voet van het standbeeld, met een prachtig uitzicht op de kustlijn en de weelderige valleien beneden. Dompel jezelf onder in de rustige sfeer van deze heilige plek, waar bezoekers kunnen reflecteren en troost kunnen vinden te midden van de schoonheid van de natuurlijke omgeving.
Byblos Castle, een gerestaureerd 12e-eeuws kruisvaarderskasteel omringd door een 10 meter brede droge gracht, bevindt zich net binnen de sfeervolle archeologische vindplaats van Byblos met de ruïnes van de Tempel van Baalat Gebal en de Tempel van de Obelisken. Het is een indrukwekkend gebouw dat een uitstekend uitzicht biedt over de ruïnes vanaf de top van de vierhoekige donjon. Een reeks woningen uit de Bronstijd is duidelijk zichtbaar onder de muren als je naar de zee kijkt. Binnen in het kasteel is er een klein museum en een kamer met informatiepanelen die de geschiedenis van de stad schetsen.
De oude souk van Byblos is een oude markt waar toeristen souvenirs en antiek kunnen kopen, of gewoon door de oude geplaveide straten kunnen wandelen en van de architectuur kunnen genieten.

Wonderful day outside Beirut with Hassane. I was very lucky to have him as my guide. Knowledgeable, polite, a gentleman who represents his country with pride. Don’t miss the GROTTO! Unimaginably spectacular! Excellent day trip. Highly recommended.

It was an excellent experience. I’m from Iran and my spouse is Turkish. Under the guidance of our tour leader, Mr. Hassane, who had very extensive knowledge, we visited the beautiful sights of Beirut and Byblos, Harisa and … His English was excellent, and he followed a very precise schedule, even picking us up from the hotel on time. We were truly satisfied with this tour.

The tour was definitely worth it as you get to do the most popular activities near Beirut in just half a day,in a comfortable van just with a handful of people. The driver, Albert is super accomodating and polite and he responds with efficiency to any kind of situation ,offering good solutions (like with my "no cash" emergency :p) Little advice,bring enough cash with you to cover all the entrance fees ! Do not miss the teleferique ride!!
One of the best guided tours I experienced! Our guide, Albert, made this experience amazing. The trip was very well planned, punctual and Albert shared a lot of information and knowledge from beginning to end of the tour. All of this with good humour! I definitely recommend.
Just had the most incredible day on this guided tour, the sights, the places, the people were all incredible. We started the day at the 'Shrine of our Lady of Lebanon', a beautiful peaceful place for reflection with amazing views stretching far across Lebanon. This was followed by a 'whistle top' tour of Batroun, Albert took us to the world famous Lemonade shop and then to every part of the old town. Albert shared all his expert knowledge of the town giving our visit depth and context. Then we went to Byblos, we visited the citadel with an archaeologist guide taking us around the whole site explaining in depth the 8,000 years of history and people who had lived in this beautiful place. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the harbour, I ate the best sea bass with traditional Lebanese meze. Then we had time to look around the streets/markets where the people were friending and the shops sold the most beautiful items. Then back to Beirut, after a lovely day with lovely people all made perfect with our driver and guide Albert
