Beschrijving
Ga op een ontnuchterende tour naar Auschwitz-Birkenau uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog van 7 uur vanuit Krakau. U reist per bus naar de UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie en terwijl u de twee concentratiekampen met een gids bezoekt, leert u over de Holocaust en hoe het er in de kampen aan toe ging. Bekijk de tentoonstellingszalen, barakken, gaskamers en andere gebouwen in Auschwitz I. Bezoek daarna de wachttorens, vervallen gebouwen en de gedenktekens in Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Uw gids behandelt de geschiedenis van de locatie tactvol en met respect.

Op de afgesproken tijd wordt u opgehaald van het verzamelpunt in Krakau. De reis naar Auschwitz duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur. Bij aankomst heeft u een moment voor de formaliteiten en veiligheidsprocedures voordat u het Museum en Memorial Site betreedt. Verken het tweeling concentratiekamp : Auschwitz I en (met een korte pauze) Auschwitz II - Birkenau met een Gids terwijl je leert over de nazi Holocaust en hoe de kampen functioneerden. De terugreis naar Krakau duurt nog eens 1,5 uur, zodat u rustig kunt reflecteren op alles wat u hebt gezien en gehoord voordat u terugkeert naar uw accommodatie.

VERTREKTIJD De uren die u boekt zijn voorlopig en kunnen wijzigen. Vertrek vanuit Krakau kan plaatsvinden in de volgende uren: 06.00 – 13.00 uur. U ontvangt een bericht met de exacte vertrektijd tot 19.00 uur op de dag voor de activiteit. VERTREKPUNT Pick-up selectie van een van onze belangrijkste vertrekpunten : - Parking Kiss & Ride (2 Wielopole straat) naast het hoofdpostkantoor / Poczta Glowna /. Als u geen hotel pick-up nodig heeft of uw hotel kan niet worden bediend, moet u uw eigen weg naar het belangrijkste vertrekpunt maken. Check-in hier is 15 minuten voor de geboekte tour vertrektijd. OPHAALSERVICE Onze ophaalservice is beschikbaar bij geselecteerde hotels in heel Krakau. Afhankelijk van de locatie van het hotel zal de ophaalservice tussen 30 - 40 minuten voor de vertrektijd van de tour zijn. Informeer bij de receptie van uw hotel naar de ophaaltijd en de mogelijkheid om opgehaald te worden. RETOUR DETAILS Ongeacht of u de ophaaloptie of het belangrijkste ontmoetingspunt hebt gekozen, wordt u aan het einde van de tour afgezet naar het centrum van Krakau aan de Wielopolestraat 2.

- Vanwege het uitdagende onderwerp is de aanbevolen leeftijd voor deze rondleiding 14 jaar of ouder. Het reglement van het Museum verbiedt echter niet dat kinderen onder de 14 jaar deelnemen.

Barbra our tour guide on 30th April was so knowledgeable. You can never say that you’ve enjoyed a tour of such a sad place but feel it’s important to go and understand what happened during Second World War. I would definitely recommend going to the museum.
We booked the Polish tour, no english tours were available, and no audio tour available. There were signs and information dotted around but we really missed out on a lot of explanation. The site was stunning, overwhelming, and all that you would expect, a stark reminder of a horrific event.

Michael was out tour guide and he was absolutely brilliant!! So lovely and friendly it wasn't just a walk around and him chatting about the history you could really get the sense of empathy throughout his knowledge around the camp. It didn't feel rushed at all and the numbers within each group was just enough for all to fit into each room the head sets were brilliant so we could hear at all times.
The excursion is very good, it is one thing to do if you visit Krakow. But all very fast, they leave you almost no time to eat or see the exhibition.
Car was different than the one informed in WhatsApp, but driver called me so that I found the car. It might be that it is just some AI bot typing in WhatsApp. Driver was good and guide was very good (seemed fluent in both English and German). The lunch package was also well worth the price. I can recommend this tour!
It was a good experience. Got a lot of information. Enough time to see the whole place. From the pickup point and drop point, it was well handled.
We came in a group, very busy but went in at our appointed time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared the stories. It is difficult to go through here but it is worth to see for yourself. Still processing our journey here.
In a tour of several hours you get a complete picture of the madness that took place here about eighty years ago. It was a bit busy, which does not benefit the experience. The intelligibility and haste of the tour guide was also not optimal. But all in all an impressive experience

From start to finish this was a wonderful and at the same time humbling experiences Fantastic communication from Cracow tours , txt messages to confirm time and location of meet prior to travel . We were greeted by driver Max who couldn’t do enough for us during the whole trip . His efforts at the site were fantastic locating or guide and our tour group . Be warned it can seem chaotic at the site so best go with an experienced guide and as part of a tour rather than flying solo . I don’t want to go into too much detail as the experience is a very personal one , other than to say that our tour guide guide Jacob was so knowledgable and carried the whole tour through with great dignity Choose Cracow Tours and a guided tour and you won’t go wrong
