- In het hart van het Atlasgebergte in Marokko ligt Jebel Toubkal, met zijn hoogste piek op 4.167 m, vanwaar hoge bergkammen naar de droge vlaktes uitstralen. Deze magnifieke trektocht omcirkelt het Toubkal-massief en passeert hoge passen tussen oasisvalleien met hun modderstenen half- versterkte traditionele Berberdorpen en hoge valleien met stukjes zomerweide. Geniet van enkele prachtige uitzichten langs de ruggen van de Atlas en naar beneden naar de sluimerende Sahara. Neem het adembenemende Lac D'Ifni achter de barrière van lava; klauteren omhoog over sneeuwvelden en rock naar de Toubkal-piek. Dit is een zware wandeling op enige hoogte, dus kom voorbereid.
Dag 2: Toubkal toevluchtsoord - Toubkal Summit_Terug naar Imlil en dan transfer naar Marrakech Het hoogtepunt van Toubkal is zonsopgang, dus word vroeg wakker om de zonnige weg te vermijden, ontbijt rond 5.00 uur en begin de beklimming om 5.30 uur, stap voor stap totdat je het punt boven de hut bereikt waar je een korte pauze hebt, Na 3 uur tot 4 uur de heuvel op te lopen, kunt u alle hoge atlasbergen zien als een uitzicht vanuit de lucht, een prachtig uitzicht op de groene valleien en Berberdorpen, een pauze van 30 minuten op de top maakt het mogelijk om foto's te maken & geniet van het uitzicht voordat je naar de hut gaat, daar staat een gevarieerde lunch voor je klaar. Na de lunch loop je heuvelafwaarts richting Imlil en breng je terug naar Marrakech. Ongeveer 9_10 uur lopen
Dag 1: Marrakesh - Imlil - Toevluchtsoord Toubkal Na het ontbijt in het hotel in Marrakesh haalt onze chauffeur je op en brengt je naar het hart van het Hoge Atlasgebergte van Marokko. het zuidwesten van Marrakech, hier ontmoet je de gids die je zal vergezellen tijdens dit geweldige avontuur, de chauffeur zet je af in het dorp Imlil, huur de uitrusting die je nodig hebt. Begin dan de wandeling met een ervaren berggids door de Berberdorpen over een muilezelpad dat je via het heiligdom Sidi Chamhrouch (2500m) naar de berghut brengt, waar je je picknicklunch van tevoren laat bereiden door onze kok, na de lunch & een korte pauze, verder richting de berghut (3200m). Ongeveer 5/6 uur lopen Accommodatie: toevluchtsoord toubkal
• Je wordt opgehaald bij je accommodatie in de stad Marrakech, veel riads hebben geen toegang met de auto, dus de chauffeur zal in de buurt parkeren en je komen halen. • U wordt afgezet op het dichtstbijzijnde punt van uw riad / hotel. Onze chauffeur kan uw riad bellen om u indien nodig te ontmoeten.
Annuleer ten minste 24 uur voor de geplande vertrektijd om een volledige restitutie te ontvangen.

The communication from the team was impeccable, from pick up to drop off and throughout the entire hike, we had an amazingly comforting time. Hassan was our guide and he was hilarious and inclusive. He made the trip really enjoyable considering how difficult the summit is. Such a giving, welcoming and supportive man. (I do warn however be prepared for the trek, you will need poles and a head torch as well as necessary gear, it is a difficult journey but well worth it) We are very grateful for our trip and couldn't more highly recommend a service and experience

incredible experience, very happy with our guide elhoussai!! The meals are very good and abundant. The excursion and the toubkal do not disappoint. We spent two days and one night at the refuge, everything was very good!!
The hike to Toubkal with our guides Abdo & Hassan was amazing! The views on the Toubkal summit are a MUST SEE and definitely the highlight of our Morocco trip. The experience and hike was very relaxed thanks to the smooth coordination from Abdo and his team :) Abdo has excellent mountaineering & guiding experience and speaks perfect English! Already before the trip, he advised us which equipment to bring (and which to just rent in Imlil). He guided us safely to the peak in time for sunrise. We also enjoyed learning a bit about the culture of the mountain villages around the Atlas Mountains. We were also impressed by the nice food - different salads, soup, tajine… :) and the Refugio on 3200m where you spend the night was more comfortable than lots of Refugio’s in the European Alps ;)

This was an amazing trip! The Atlas Mountains are stunning and our guide timed it perfect (summit at sunrise - just wow!) Well organised, collected on time, friendly, safe & comfortable drive out, great guide, awesome food, much better refuge than many other countries I've visited. It's a challenging walk, but well worth it. Definately reccomend these guys and would use their services again.

The whole tour was an amazing experience and Abdo was a great local who had vast knowledge of the area. The meals were delicious and much needed for the steep ascent to the peak. It was heavier than I thought but definitely doable when im general good fitness. I'd surely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

We absolutely loved the trek and wholeheartedly recommend the experience. Our guide Hassan was wonderful. He made a huge amount of effort to ensure that our trek was safe, comfortable and most of all memorable. We summited in slightly tricky conditions and his expertise was crucial in ensuring that we achieved our objective. He did all of this with a smile on his face and is clearly somebody who is passionate about what he does. Prior to the trek he was extremely responsive to all of my questions. I can’t imagine you could have a better experience with any other tour guide!
Our guide Mohamed looked after us well and guided us to the top in the dark, he knew the path very well. He sang along the way and gave us hot tea at the top! The refuge was very clean and everyone was friendly, lots of food was provided we especially liked the lunches.
AWESOME hiking and Viator services are excellent! Very good Price quality ratio. Everything was extremely well organized despite the fact that I did it 2 days before...! I recommend the services of Viator with my eyes closed and the ascent of Mount Toubkal is really beautiful, quite physical but clearly worth the visit. Thanks again for everything!
