In general I liked it a lot but I think they should take more care to clean the bay because of so many cruise ships

Fantastic experience, lan ha and ha long bay are very beautiful. The food, rooms and activities aboard the cruise were amazing. I would absolutely recommend staying for 3 days. Big shout out to all the staff who made the experience truly special. Specifically John and Aki, Aki especially who ran cooking demonstrations, t’ai chi classes and was always extremely helpful and friendly. He was truly the highlight of our stay. I was disappointed to see the high level of pollution in the bay, given it is a UNESCO listed site I would expect a higher level of environmental respect from the government and tour operators.
The experience was amazing and very different from the rest of our Vietnam trip. I love spending time kayaking, cycling around cat ba island and leaping from the top of our day boat into the ocean. The food was outstanding and the staff were incredible. John managed his staff extremely well and Aki set a strong precedent for everyone around him. My only downfall was the lack of internet on the boat, but it was probably for the best. Highly recommend 3d2n
