RIO FORTUNA WATERVAL: een bergafwaartse wandeling door brengt je naar de bodem van deze verbazingwekkende 60 meter hoge waterval waar je kunt genieten van een heerlijke Costa Ricaanse lunch en een pauze voordat je het avontuur voortzet. MISTICO HANGBRUGGEN: een wandeling van twee uur door het prachtige regenwoud en een geweldige kans om dieren te zien zoals apen, toekans, wilde kalkoenen, luiaards, een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels en nog veel meer.

Toegang en zwemmen in het natuurlijke water. De tweede belangrijkste attractie in het La Fortuna-gebied na de Arenal-vulkaan. De La Fortuna-waterval met zijn prachtige val van 70 meter geeft ons de mogelijkheid om een verfrissende duik te nemen in zijn 100% natuurlijke wateren die zijn geboren in de bergen van het noorden van Costa Rica.
De lunch is inbegrepen bij deze combo-tour, een heerlijke lunch met een voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht en dessert, evenals een natuurlijke fruitdrank van het seizoen. We hebben gerechten voor alle smaken en dieetbeperkingen. Mensen met voedselbeperkingen moeten dit aangeven bij het boeken.

We went to Mystic Park to walk through the suspension bridges. Stopped to see poison dart frogs, jumping pit vipers and eye lash vipers, as well as howler monkeys and toucans. Next we hiked down the 500+ stairs to see La Fortuna Waterfall and swim in the lagoon. The water was very turbulent but beautiful. We got poured on, but we were already wet from the waterfall pool. Hiking back out was the toughest part. Then we had a nice lunch at Casa Luna hotel restaurant. We then traveled to Arenal Volcano for an about a 2 km hike and learned the history of the volcano. It was a great day. Cathy (sp?) was a very knowledgeable tour guide.
It’s more hiking than we originally anticipated but don’t let that stop you! GO SWIMMING in the waterfall - it felt so good!
What an awesome day we had with our guides. They were super knowledgeable when it came down to all the questions we had. It was a group of 4 of us and although it was a long day full of activities, our guides kept us informed and energized to keep our day going. We did the hanging bridges first, then the volcano hike and then finished off with the waterfall/river. In between they provided us with plenty of water, snacks and a delicious lunch. They also provided towels for the waterfall. Definitely recommend this tour and you can knock out all the activities in one day if you’re short on time in the area.
It was beautiful, and so much fun! The tour guide was the best! Everyone is very friendly. The meal that is included was the best thing we had our whole trip.
We had an absolute blast!! HIGHLY recommend this tour if you want an action packed day. It was a lot of moving but also so worth it, and well paced (in my opinion). Snacks and water offered along the way & we even stopped for a cappuccino! This honestly made our whole trip. Learned and saw so much!! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and he has a real passion for what he does. Pura vida!
We had such a wonderful experience with Reynaldo! Despite very rainy and windy weather, he managed to make the adventure a joy for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids (age 7-9). He did a great job communicating and explaining what was coming (especially the difficult parts of the hike and waterfall climb) and had deep knowledge of every part of the excursion. His English was on point and he did a magnificent job engaging the kids in learning and having fun in a safe way. He spotted lots of wildlife, shared history of the locations we visited, and was patient with on our large group. It was a BIG day of physical challenges, but Reynaldo made it incredibly fun and joyful. The logistics worked out well with pickup, snacks, lunch, all three excursions, and drop off. No complaints, only praise for a talented guide sharing the Pura Vida.
My family and I enjoyed this tour package very much. Our guide was Kendri and our driver was Carlos. Both were so kind and fun and took great care of us and the group. Kendri planned the day to perfection based on her experience with the weather pattern. First stop was the Arenal hanging bridges in the morning. It wasn't too crowded yet and Kendri spotted several monkeys, sloths, and other creatures and showed them through her scope and took photos with our cameras. The bridges were fun to cross and even my elderly parents enjoyed it. Amazing place! Next we went to Arenal Volcano for a hike and Kendri did a great job with the history and geology lessons and made it very interesting. The last trip to La Fortuna waterfall at the end of the day was also nice. We got good exercise throughout the day and earned our nice lunch at a Cafe. Thank you Kendri and Carlos!!
I really enjoyed this tour- it combined all activities and places I wanted to see. Harvin our guide was great- he knew how to spot sloths, tuckans, spiders and other animals- thanks to his telescope we could see them clearly. He had a great knowledge and sense of humour. Lunch was delicious. Also our driver David was very careful. I truly recommend this tour to everyone.
Our tour guide Joanna was incredible! She did a great job explaining and pointing out different animals and things we would have never seen on our own. Highly recommend!
