Deze dagtour geeft je de kans om vanuit het gebied van Phoenix naar het zuiden te gaan om verschillende historische locaties te zien die bezoekers van over de hele wereld komen bekijken. Hierdoor kun je verschillende interessante locaties ervaren die zo belangrijk zijn in de geschiedenis van Arizona. Onze eerste stop is bij de missie in San Xavier del Bac, waar je de kans krijgt om meer te weten te komen over het gebied ten zuiden van Tucson en de details en prachtige architectuur van de kerk te zien, die honderden jaren geleden is gebouwd. Ga vervolgens naar Tombstone, wat zo'n unieke ervaring is om te zien en in dezelfde stappen te kunnen lopen als Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday en de Clantons. Het winkelen is heel uniek en interessant, en de mensen in de stad kleden zich allemaal in historische outfits. Terwijl we in de stad zijn, zullen we een Shootout zien in de OK Corral en lunchen (inclusief tot $ 15 per persoon) in de oude hoofdstraat van de stad. We hebben nog een laatste stop bij de Boothill Graveyard om de graven van veel beroemde Tombstone-burgers te bezoeken. Dan is het terug naar Phoenix.

We bezoeken deze zeer beroemde en historische stad in Zuidoost-Arizona. Deze goed bewaard gebleven westerse stad geeft je het gevoel in het oude westen te zijn. Je loopt door de straten waar Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp en zijn broers ooit woonden. Je ziet een nagebouwde schietpartij tussen de Earps en Clantons in de OK Corral. Eet vervolgens een lunch (inclusief maximaal $ 15) in een van de beroemde restaurants aan de hoofdstraat van de stad.
Een andere stop is bij de Boothill Graveyard om de laatste rustplaatsen van veel van de beroemde burgers van de stad te bezoeken.
We bezoeken ook de missie in de San Xavier del Bac-kerk om een van de oudste gebouwen in Arizona te bezoeken.

We LOVED this Tombstone tour. Todd is the perfect guide - super friendly and super informative about so many parts of the tour whether it's about locations/history/western info. The drive is so scenic to and from Tombstone and we were able to explore on our own as well as with Todd. It's a must do tour for any western lovers and it honestly couldn't have been more perfect. From early morning to late afternoon, all the sights were such awesome places to visit. The sites were warm for November but not crowded. We weren’t quite ready for the distant drive between places, but that just gave time to chat with the driver. Must-do!

Fun relaxing trip. There was so much history to take in from a gunfight at the O.K Corral to walking down Allen Street visiting Big Nose Kate's Saloon, the birdcage theater, ending with a stagecoach ride. It was a step back in time. Our stop at the San Xavier del Bac Mission was seeped in spiritual history. A great historical place of worship still being used today. Definitely recommend Todd at Historic Arizona Tours
Perfect tour. Todd was a knowledgeable and friendly guide/driver. The freedom we had to wander round Tombstone at our own pace and time was greatly appreciated by my wife and myself. Comfortable and safe car ride added to the experience of a wonderful day out.

Our friendly guide Todd was a wealth of information about Tombstone and surrounding areas! We loved hearing about the region as we drove South from Phoenix. The Chapel was such a nice stop on the way to lift our spirits and stretch our legs. The Tombstone shootout was really impressive! The memories are going to be lifelong! Definitely will book another guided tour with Todd in the future when we return to Arizona!
I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip from Scottsdale to Tombstone territory. Todd was a fantastic tour guide because he is very knowledgable about the western era and the western movie genre (including pointing out former filming locations). Todd shared his experiences attending western themed events and his meeting interactions with loads of actors in the movie industry (which included pictures taken with the actors). Another perk was Todd pointed out other places to visit along the Arizona 83-Route. Todd allowed my grandson and I to take our time to look around three stops on the tour, which I appreciated. This private tour is definitely one that I would recommend to others.
