Deze activiteit is uniek omdat het hand in hand gaat met kunstenaarschap met diepe culturele betekenis. Je zult niet alleen aardewerk repareren, je zult ook de Kintsugi-filosofie leren om schoonheid te vinden in onvolkomenheden, met behulp van echte urushi-lak en goudpoeder om de barsten te benadrukken in plaats van ze te verbergen. Onder leiding van een ervaren Tokyo-ambachtsman in een vredige Asakusa-studio maak je een uniek stuk dat mindfulness, vernieuwing en Japanse esthetiek weerspiegelt, een ervaring die je niet zult vinden in gewone knutsellessen.
