De ervaren professionele Gids zal details van Sumo-wereld uitleggen. Deze tour is compleet anders dan andere tours. Het reisschema is gemaakt door een voormalige evenementencoördinator in een van de toonaangevende themaparken van Japan. De charme van de tour gaat verder dan alleen het bezoeken van de bestemming; het is gestructureerd volgens een doordacht concept en is een waardevolle ervaring die je onderdompelt in de Japanse geschiedenis en cultuur. *Wanneer de reproductie van Edo stad gesloten is, geldt een gereduceerde tourprijs. Ervaren Gids heeft de hele tourinhoud ontwikkeld en zal de sumo-cultuur en traditie uitleggen voor reizigers om deze tourervaring te begrijpen en ervan te genieten. Na het bekijken van de training, zult u genieten van foto gelegenheid met echte Sumo worstelaars! Het minimum aantal personen voor de tour is 2 personen.

Onze gids ontmoet je op station Kiyosumi-kshirakawa op de begane grond van uitgang B1. en zullen samen lopen om de tour te starten.
Je kunt echte sumoworstelaars zien oefenen vanaf de eerste rang van de sumostal. Er is speciale toestemming vereist om de sumostal te betreden, dus deze tour zal zeker geweldige herinneringen opleveren.
Dit is waar de schoonheid van Japanse tuinen ligt. De stilte en het artistieke landschap geven je het gevoel alsof de geschiedenis van Japan je recht in je oren wordt verteld. Dit is een ‘wandelende bostuin’ die voornamelijk bronwater, rotstuinen en droge landschappen bevat. Deze methode van landschapsarchitectuur werd gebruikt in de tuinen van feodale heren tijdens de Edo-periode, maar het is ook een prachtige tuin die is geërfd van de landschapsarchitectuur uit de Meiji-periode.
Dit is een levensgrote reproductie van het stadsgezicht van Tokio aan het einde van de Edoperiode. De veranderingen van de dag worden gecreëerd met geluid en verlichting. Alledaagse gereedschappen worden in elk huis geplaatst. Je kunt het huis binnengaan en het gereedschap aanraken. *Wanneer het museum gesloten is, geldt een gereduceerde tourprijs (1.000 yen/persoon). Museum is gesloten op 8 december 2025 en 3 januari 2026.

Amazing experience, one of the highlights of our 3 month trip. Ken was so insightful and helpful, and we left with a new love for sumo and are keen to look for ways to see a tournament! We loved the Sumo practice experience. More detailed information about Sumo, Edo time, and more recent Sumo competitions would have been appreciated. A little handout summarizing Sumo would have been helpful. To my understanding, the garden was unrelated to Sumo. The museum was fun. Again more background would have been great.

Very nice experience. Ken was a superb guide. He gave us lots of information about sumo tradition and Tokyo's history as he took us for a guided visit to a nearby park and museum after the sumo practice.

This was 100% the BEST part of our trip! We came to Japan wanting to see Sumo wrestling and to learn about the Japanese culture and history in full detail. We got that and MORE with this tour. Ken was amazing! He was very friendly, kind and super funny. He is a Japan local so he knows everything you would want to know about the country and he speaks fluent English. We never felt rushed at any point of the tour and he answered all of our questions about the Sumo lifestyle, Japanese culture and overall life in Japan. He even took the time to recommend places to visit, eat at and experience. The tour was amazing but having Ken there definitely made it even more fun and memorable.
