Hier zie je de iconische rode torii-poort uit het water oprijzen, een gezicht dat zowel prachtig als doordrenkt is van geschiedenis. Dit oude heiligdom werd opgericht in 757 na Christus en biedt een serene omgeving en een glimp van het spirituele erfgoed van de regio.
Hakone Piratenschip Cruise (zelf betaald) Zet koers over Lake Ashi aan boord van het Hakone Piratenschip. Geniet tijdens uw cruise van een panoramisch uitzicht op het meer, de majestueuze torii-poort en de berg Fuji. Deze unieke ervaring stelt u in staat om Hakone's natuurlijke pracht volledig te waarderen. (Let op: het ticket voor de cruise is niet inbegrepen. Het is ongeveer 12USD). Als u niet met de boot gaat, kunt u er ook voor kiezen om onze tourbus naar de volgende attractie te nemen.
Hakone Ropeway Spring op de Hakone Ropeway en sta versteld van de adembenemende uitzichten op de vulkanische Owakudani-vallei en Mount Fuji. De rit biedt een spannend perspectief op het actieve vulkanische landschap en de torenhoge berg.
Owakudani Valley Verken Owakudani, beroemd om zijn warmwaterbronnen en de kenmerkende "zwarte eieren" gekookt in zwavelwater. Het dramatische vulkanische landschap en de stomende openingen bieden een fascinerende blik op de rauwe kracht van de natuur.

We raden u vriendelijk aan om geen activiteiten of vervoer daarna te plannen om verliezen te voorkomen. Kousei was great, great tour. We didn’t get to see Mt Fuji do to weather, but the rest of the tour was good.
It was a wonderful day and our tour guide Jack was amazing, he was very nice & knowledgeable. I am a travel agent and I would recommend this tour to any of my clients.
I would not recommend this tour. It was reminiscent of being on a school trip - ferried around in a huge group with our guide resembling an angry, tense teacher. She made no conversation and gave very little information, instead barking orders repeatedly about timings and not getting left behind. She even followed one poor woman into the toilet to tell her off for pausing! It got to the point of being humorous and we actually left early. If you simply want transport from Tokyo to Hakone, and then to the Hakone hotspots, this is the tour for you. If you are looking for more of an experience and to learn about the area/history, do not book this.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Tour with Erik! Our trip to Mt. Fuji was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our entire visit to Japan, and a huge part of that was because of our wonderful guide, Erik! From the beginning to the end, Erik was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. He made us feel comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking, but what made the day even more special was the way Erik guided us through the experience. He shared interesting information, helped us enjoy every stop without feeling rushed, and made the entire day fun and memorable. Traveling with my son, I especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful he was with both of us. You can tell that Erik doesn't simply do this as a job — he truly wants his guests to have an incredible experience and leave Japan with beautiful memories. A long day, but very well put together. Everything is done well and allows you to discover the Mt. region. Fuji from Tokyo. Our guide Évita was clear in her explanations and led the group masterfully. An experience that I highly recommend to travelers who do not have the time to explore this region over several days.
Erik was absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best tour guides we could have asked for. He made our Mt. Fuji and Hakone experience so much better, and I know for a fact I wouldn’t have enjoyed the day nearly as much without him as our guide. His English was outstanding, and he was extremely clear and organized throughout the entire tour. He explained the plan perfectly, made sure we always knew what we were doing and where we were going, and answered every single question we had. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, and genuinely one of the nicest people we met during our trip. What really stood out was how much he went above and beyond. Erik didn’t just give us great recommendations for Mt. Fuji and Hakone — he gave us amazing recommendations for the rest of our Japan trip too. He genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible, even beyond the tour itself. If you have the opportunity to book a tour with Erik, do it. Terrible tourist experience with this tour. Our original booking was with Tripadvisor for 8am local time 24 hours before it was changed to 7.15 meet time and 7.30 start time. we left accordingly to arrive at meet point while communicating all along the way that we could be 5-10 mins late. Inspite of all this we ran and arrived at 7.35 when operator Evita called and said they can not wait and left right in front of our eyes. You should know that this tour changes times arbitrarily, does not accommodate changes or very rude to customers even when 5 minutes are past the time on a tour for the whole day. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR IF You can not accommodate operator changes, inflexibility in timing and can not keep exact precise time of tour even when changed by the operator on their own.
The weather was beautiful and Fuji was visible most of the day. That said- the tour itself was rushed. We hit traffic both ways which wasn’t the tour’s fault but still crammed in all stops and ended up being a 12 hour day. The pirate ship & cable cars aren’t really optional since they drop you off and pick you up in a different location. Both well worth the extra though. Lunch was not good and I’d recommend skipping and grabbing something nearby the restaurant stop or at the next site where there were multiple food vendors.
Kousai was amazing and very friendly. He knew all the best photo spots and made the experience very fun!
