Tsukiji Outer Market is bekleed met meer dan 400 speciaalzaken, boordevol verse seizoensgebonden ingrediënten en authentieke kookgerei. Sensoji Tempel is een van de beroemdste tempels in Tokio. Langs de ingang van de tempel kun je wat lokale gerechten proberen en als je wilt kun je ook de nabijgelegen Kappabashi Tool Street bezoeken.
Shibuya is een trendy wijk waar veel jongeren samenkomen. Er zijn vele attracties, zoals 's werelds drukste "Scramble Crossing" en de extreem populaire nachtzicht plek "Shibuya Sky". Er zijn ook talloze trendy kledingwinkels, stijlvolle cafés en restaurants verspreid.
De gebieden Omotesando, Aoyama en Harajuku zijn de meest trendy gebieden in Japan. Het zijn de beste plekken voor mode- en winkelliefhebbers. De drie gebieden grenzen aan elkaar, zodat je ze te voet kunt verkennen. Omotesando en Aoyama hebben een zeer verfijnde sfeer, en zijn bezaaid met high-brand winkels, stijlvolle cafés en restaurants. Harajuku is ook bezaaid met vele trendy kledingwinkels en tweedehands kledingwinkels. Takeshita Street in het bijzonder is een mekka voor de Japanse popcultuur, en is een stad voor jongeren waar het woord "kawaii" perfect past.
Shinjuku is het drukste winkelgebied van Tokio, bezaaid met warenhuizen en tal van restaurants en cafés. De prachtige Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden ligt ook op loopafstand van het station. Omoide Yokocho is een smalle steeg tussen gebouwen met een retro, nostalgische sfeer, omzoomd met kleine bars en restaurants. Het is erg fotogeniek en ziet er zeker geweldig uit op sociale media.
Gotokuji is een prachtige tempel die een hot topic is geworden op sociale media, en de aanblik van het grote aantal witte maneki-neko (wenkende katten) dat er is geplaatst is werkelijk spectaculair.
Het Akihabara gebied is een mekka voor manga, anime en andere subculturen. Er zijn veel manga- en animewinkels verspreid, waardoor het een must-visit plek is voor fans. Er staan ook veel elektronicawinkels opgesteld, dus het is aan te raden voor degenen die elektrische apparaten zoals camera's en computers willen kopen.
Meiji Shrine is een van de grootste heiligdommen in Japan, gelegen in het hart van Tokio maar toch omgeven door prachtige bossen.
Het keizerlijk paleis is gelegen op de voormalige site van Edo Castle en is momenteel de thuisbasis van de keizer van Japan. Eén van de symbolen is de prachtige Nijubashi Bridge, wat een geweldige fotoplek is.
Ginza is een verfijnde en luxe stad. Het is bezaaid met restaurants van hoge kwaliteit, zoals Michelin-sterren sushi, tempura, teppanyaki en yakitori. Het is ook een geweldige plek om te winkelen met high-end merkwinkels en warenhuizen op een rij. Daarnaast is het de thuisbasis van het Kabukiza Theater, waar u gemakkelijk Kabuki kunt bekijken, een traditionele Japanse podiumkunst.
Daikanyama ligt dicht bij Shibuya, maar heeft een zeer rustige sfeer en is een trendy gebied bezaaid met cafés, restaurants en kledingwinkels.

Nozomu communicate with us before the trip, to coordinate our likes and wishes. Met us at the hotel promply. We spent a full day with him. We saw traditional and modern Tokyo. Took us to beautiful Shinto shrines, suggested things to try, like rice cakes from an 100 yrs store. We explore together Yanaka area. What a grat place! Vintage kimono store, 100 yr ginger candy maker store, And finding Suiko Buseki himself, master third-generation Japanese bamboo craftsman. In additio to being our guide, he was also our photographer, providing us with plenty of memories. Good English communication. We recommend him, without hesitation .
