Wat is het verhaal? Kijkend met ontzag naar monolithische stalen en glazen torens, voelt men zich klein. Leg dat gevoel vast in je foto’s, waarbij je kleine menselijke vormen tegenover koude en steriele structuren plaatst. Contraster het kunstmatige en door de mens gemaakte met het organische – hints van natuur en menselijk leven omringd door de metropool Tokio. Wat we zullen schieten We leren hoe we boeiende beelden kunnen maken van architectonische elementen en de mensen die de betonnen omgeving van de stad bevolken. Je wordt gecoacht op het gebruik van compositieconcepten zoals voorlooplijnen, negatieve ruimte en naast elkaar plaatsen. We oefenen het gebruik van deze technieken om een verscheidenheid aan verhalen over te brengen. Waar we zullen verkennen Onze reis begint in Shiodome – een wijk ommuurd met glazen en stalen wolkenkrabbers. Vanaf hier gaan we naar Ginza, beroemd om zijn brede lanen omzoomd met ingewikkelde voorbeelden van avant-garde architectuur. Daarna eindigen we in Yurakucho waar we de binnenkant van het monolithische Tokyo International Forum zullen verkennen.

Booked the tour due to a long layover, no regrets! The guide was extremely patient, and friendly. I felt in capable hands, learned so much about night photography in general and how to take interesting travel/city shots. He recommended food places in area and helped me with my travels to the city. Really enjoyed it and recommended for single female also.
Charles did a great job explaining how to setup, what to look for and how to adjust the settings for the perfect shot. Overall I learned a lot about exposure, symmetry, and reflections and it was much easier since Charles is fluent in English. I wish I took this tour earlier into my Tokyo trip.

Tokyo is a huge playground for photography and I've always wanted to have the time to take pictures of this megalopolis. I took part in a session (Tokyo Metropolis) with Charles as my guide, and I can't recommend him highly enough. Knowing that I came with my Ricoh GR3 and an IPhone16Pro, he adapted to my setup and showed me the city from another angle. It was a wonderful experience, and on my next trip to Tokyo, I'll be booking another session. Thanks again Charles

I did the Cyberpunk tour with professional photographer, Lukasz Palka. I learned a ton from Lukasz, especially about street photography since I do much more landscape. Lukasz was an exceptional teacher, had a large number of great locations we visited, and was an excellent tour guide. When I return to Japan I will definitely book another adventure with Lukasz and EYExplore.
