Het staat ook bekend als “Memories Yokocho”, “Yakitori Yokocho” of “Pissende Steeg”, evenals de vroegere algemene naam “Pissende Steeg. Vroeger waren er ongeveer 300 winkels.
2e stop : zoveel mogelijk izakaya drinken in Kabukicho

De levensgrote Godzilla hoofd geïnstalleerd op de 8e verdieping terras van het gebouw is een mijlpaal van de stad, Het levensgrote Godzillahoofd op het terras op de 8e verdieping van het gebouw is een bezienswaardigheid van de stad en verwelkomt bezoekers van Kabukicho. Our guide was truly great!! We had a nice small group and got to try a few different items and got some good information to start the next bit of our trip. I didn't love the area since the bars are so small.. but that just makes me extra happy I went with a guide!! I would have been overwhelmed on my own. This let me experience it all safely and with explanation!! Our group had a good time and went out after the guide went home.

Kazu was the best companion one could imagine. He was interested in our culture, explained things about Japanese culture to us, and was the ideal drinking partner one could imagine. From facts about the Second World War to what Japanese culture looks like today. And he was also so kind that after the time was up, he showed us another bar and spent time with us. I can only recommend this experience to everyone, and Kazu was truly perfect; we loved him <3.
