【Tokio/Asakusa】Traditionele Japanse Washi-papiermaakervaring

We bieden een hands-on workshop aan waar je handgemaakte washi kunt ervaren, een traditioneel Japans ambacht. Tosa Washi, met meer dan 1000 jaar geschiedenis, is een van Japans top drie washi papers. Bekend om zijn kracht en warmte, het is gemakkelijk om te proberen en zorgt voor een onvergetelijke Asakusa ervaring - perfect voor fans van ambachten of Japanse cultuur. Na een korte video over de geschiedenis en het proces van Tosa Washi, draag je traditionele werkkleding (samue) en maak je washi ansichtkaarten met hulp van een vriendelijke instructeur. In zowel het Plan voor gewoon papier als het Plan voor gekleurd papier maak je vier gewone ansichtkaarten. Het Colored Paper Plan bevat een extra stap: prachtige Rakusuishi – kantachtige decoratieve washi – er bovenop leggen. U kunt uw favoriete vier kleuren kiezen. De workshop zit vol glimlach en verbazing over de schoonheid van het afgewerkte papier. Neem je handgemaakte washi mee naar huis als bijzonder aandenken.

Kazu was a wonderful instructor. My friend and I took a car to Watashino and were happily greeted by Kazu. He explained everything so well and loved learning about the way washi paper was made. He had everything lined up perfectly so we could learn as well on a smaller scale. We loved our postcards we made! The gift shop attached is so cute too! Great souvenirs! Thank you Kazu and team!

This is an amazing experience! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan, it was such an interesting learning experience about how washi is made and walking away with some handmade paper that we made ourselves isthe best souvenir we can possibly take home

It was a washi-making experience I had always wanted to try. It was a hot day, but I was able to experience it in a cool and comfortable atmosphere indoors, and the teacher was cheerful and talked lightly while explaining washi, which was a wonderful experience.
