Traditioneel Japans dorp gelegen in Fujikawaguchiko Town, bekend als het mooiste dorp van Japan, een schilderachtige plek met de berg Fuji op de achtergrond. Bekijk de rieten daken van dichtbij en ervaar de leefbare kenmerken van warm zijn in de winter en koel in de zomer. Staande op het uitkijkpunt, met uitzicht op de Fuji in de verte, vullen de bergtop en het dak elkaar aan, waardoor een prachtig beeld ontstaat.
Lake Kawaguchi staat bekend als de stralende parel van de vijf meren van Fuji, de ingewikkelde kustlijn biedt tal van uitkijkpunten om de berg Fuji te bewonderen. Tienduizend jaar geleden creëerde een spectaculaire uitbarsting van de berg Fuji dit verbluffende beeld van meer en berg. Wandel langs de oevers met de berg Fuji op de achtergrond, een serene en ontzagwekkende sfeer, en geniet van de prachtige weerspiegeling van de berg Fuji in het heldere water.
Oishi Park, het palet van de natuur, is beroemd om zijn seizoensgebonden mooie en levendige bloemenshows. Of het nu gaat om kersenbloesem, lavendel, rode bladeren, kochia, of sneeuw en riet, de seizoenen veranderen de schoonheid is adembenemend. U kunt schoonheidsfoto's maken met Lake Kawaguchi, seizoensbloemen en de Fuji op de achtergrond.
Op de tweede verdieping van het Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center vindt u een uniek perspectief waar u gemakkelijk het prachtige beeld van de rode torii kunt vastleggen die zich vermengt met de berg Fuji.
Beroemd park in Fujiyoshida Stad, Yamanashi Prefectuur, Japan. Het staat bekend als een van de 21 plaatsen die fotografen van over de hele wereld in hun leven moeten bezoeken. De Chureito Pagode is een vijf verdiepingen tellende pagode op de berghelling met uitzicht op Fujiyoshida City en de berg Fuji. Om de pagode te bereiken, moeten bezoekers de trap van bijna 400 treden beklimmen, het uitzicht vanaf de top wordt beschouwd als een van de beste in Japan.
Gebouwd in 705 en heeft een geschiedenis van meer dan 1300 jaar. Het is een heilige plaats om te bidden voor welzijn en familiegeluk. A very enjoyable day! Each of the attractions has something different. The views from the top of Mt. Fuji on the last stop are well worth the hike to the top. The guide Belle was very good and full of energy!

Had Omar as our guide today. Very friendly and organised and kept us all to time. We lucked out with the weather…beautiful blue skies and magnificent views of Fuji. However this and the Sakura brought lots of others too so as with many places at this time of year expect the crowds and queues and find little places to escape and take a breath.

An important note - this vendor gives you a chance to reschedule/cancel with a couple days' notice if the weather is poor. You've got about a 50% chance of seeing Mt. Fuji on any given day, so take advantage of this. We knew it was going to rain, and chose to go anyway because I wanted to see the area. I've got mixed feelings on this decision. The traditional village with the craftspeople is neat. The lake and the springs are less interesting; there's almost nothing to do besides wander the enormous gift shops and buy snacks. (They mostly have the same gifts and snacks.) The pagoda/shrine is very pretty and has a nice view, but minus Mt. Fuji, is no more interesting than any of the shrines and pagodas you're likely to have seen in Tokyo and Kyoto. There's a stop for lunch that you pay for on your own; if you choose to get the lunch, it's extremely well-organized and quite tasty (and includes a vegetarian option). If you don't...I dunno what you do with that hour. I'd recommend getting the lunch. The guide was mostly focused on logistics; I'd kind of hoped for some more history/culture/background info, but it wasn't really that kind of tour. We had a nice time and it was nice to see some of Japan outside the cities. They did their best to make it interesting regardless of the weather, and it's entirely on us for deciding to go despite the predicted rain. I'm not sure it's worth the full day without actually seeing Mt. Fuji, though, so keep an eye on those weather predictions.
