Onze eendaagse stadstour door Tokio omvat de meeste bezienswaardigheden in Tokio! Wij zijn het enige reisbedrijf dat handige ophaal- en wegbrengdiensten aanbiedt bij bijna 30 grote hotels in Tokio. U hoeft zich geen zorgen te maken over het navigeren door het metro- of treinsysteem in de spits van Tokio om een ontmoetingspunt te bereiken. Het is het grootste Shinto-heiligdom in Tokio, voltooid in 1920 ter ere van de geesten van keizer Meiji en keizerin Shoken, die een cruciale rol speelden bij de oprichting van de moderne natie na het einde van het Samoerai-tijdperk.
De locatie staat bekend als 's werelds drukste kruispunt, gewoonlijk Shibuya Scramble Crossing genoemd.
Ervaar een adembenemend uitzicht op Tokio terwijl je met een hogesnelheidslift naar het belangrijkste observatiedek stijgt.
Het werd gebouwd in 1936 en is de locatie waar beide huizen van het Japanse parlement (het parlement) bijeenkomen.
De bus rijdt in 20 minuten rond het Keizerlijk Paleis in Tokio. Het keizerlijk paleis was tot halverwege de 19e eeuw het kasteel van de shogun. Tijdens de rit geeft de gids commentaar op elke poort die je passeert, inclusief de hoofdingang en de iconische Dubbele Brug.
Het eerste winkeldistrict in westerse stijl van Japan, met gerenommeerde warenhuizen, luxe merkwinkels en goede restaurants.

Het uitgestrekte landgoed was ooit de tuin van de Shogun en diende als fort. Het is een goed voorbeeld van de Daimyo-tuinen (Samurai Lord), met vijvers, bomen, stenen en theehuizen.
Geniet van een heerlijke riviercruise van 30 minuten op de Baai van Tokio en de Sumida-rivier. Deze enkele boottocht brengt je naar Asakusa en biedt een mooie en aangename reis.
Het werd opgericht in de 7e eeuw en wordt beschouwd als een van de oudste boeddhistische tempels in het gebied. Daarnaast is er een smalle winkelstraat genaamd Nakamise, gelegen tegenover de tempel.
De Tokyo Skytree is een van de hoogste gebouwen ter wereld en wordt vergezeld door een uniek winkelcentrum aan de basis, met tal van aantrekkelijke winkels en restaurants.
De gerenommeerde straat, ook wel Kitchen Street of Utensil Street genoemd, herbergt talloze winkels die alles bieden wat chef-koks en restauranteigenaren nodig hebben.
Ueno is een van de drukste commerciële wijken van Tokio. Gasten die in Ueno willen verblijven, kunnen op dit punt van boord gaan.
Het is het epicentrum van de Japanse anime- en mangacultuur! Gasten die in Akihabara willen verblijven, kunnen op dit punt van boord gaan.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De ophaaltijd bij aangewezen hotels kan variëren. Het exacte tijdstip en de ontmoetingsplek informeren wij u later. Zorg ervoor dat je 5-10 minuten vóór de geplande ophaaltijd klaar staat op de ontmoetingsplek.

- Opties voor openbaar vervoer zijn in de buurt aanwezig
- Kinderen moeten bij een volwassene op schoot zitten

- Niet aanbevolen voor reizigers met een slechte cardiovasculaire gezondheid
- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- De route kan worden gewijzigd of bepaalde bezoeken of vervoer kunnen worden weggelaten of vervangen vanwege druk verkeer, weersomstandigheden of andere operationele redenen. Zelfs in dergelijke omstandigheden kan de tour niet worden geannuleerd en wordt het tourbedrag niet terugbetaald.
- Als de Sumida River Cruise om operationele redenen wordt opgeschort, kan een alternatieve optie het nemen van de Tokyo Bay Cruise (ongeveer 50 minuten, inclusief de riviercruise) zijn, vertrekkend vanaf Odaiba Island via Rainbow Bridge. In een dergelijk scenario wordt het bezoek aan de Hama-Rikyu-tuinen achterwege gelaten.
- Als zowel de Sumida River Cruise als de Tokyo Bay Cruise niet beschikbaar zijn vanwege operationele redenen of weersomstandigheden, kan een alternatieve route bestaan uit het rijden via Odaiba Island via Rainbow Bridge en het nemen van de Metro Expressway naar Asakusa met de bus.
- Als u voedselallergieën of dieetbeperkingen heeft, kunnen wij helaas geen speciale maaltijden verzorgen. In dergelijke gevallen verzoeken wij u vriendelijk om de touroptie zonder lunch te kiezen.
- Kinderen tot 5 jaar kunnen gratis deelnemen aan de tour. Houd er echter rekening mee dat busstoelen en lunch niet kosteloos worden verstrekt. Als er voor een kind buszitplaatsen of lunch nodig zijn, wordt het toepasselijke kindertarief in rekening gebracht.
- Voor de ophaal- en terugbrengdiensten kan een taxi worden gebruikt. Om operationele redenen is het mogelijk dat een gids u niet vergezelt tijdens de ophaal- en terugbrengdiensten. Ophaalservices bij elk hotel zijn beschikbaar als de reservering meer dan een uur vóór de geplande ophaaltijd wordt gemaakt.
- De duur van de rondleiding bedraagt ongeveer 9 uur. De resterende tijd wordt gereserveerd voor het ophalen en reizen tussen de attracties.
- Tijdens de tour wordt er veel buiten gewandeld. Wij raden u aan sneakers of comfortabele schoenen te dragen. Zorg voor regenkleding bij slecht weer.

Good all day tour of Tokyo. Morning tour guide, Kumikko, and afternoon guide, Yuko, we’re both very good. Lunch was OK and afternoon river cruise was not the best. Last minute change in boat type (by the boat operator) was main reason.

For English speakers the guides have strong Japanise accents. Sometimes difficult to understand. The sights were amazing. .

Recommend this day tour of Tokyo. Our guide, Yuko (in the morning), is to be congratulated for her very helpful and thorough information and explanations about Tokyo, Japan and the sites we visited. She even provided quite a few visual aids. Much appreciated and made the tour more interesting and enjoyable. This tour covers a lot of different neighborhoods and sites in Tokyo, so it's a good overview and helpful for considering where you might want to come back to visit later. It includes a good lunch in Ginza and a fun river boat ride. One of the final site visits is the big Buddhist Temple which is featured on nearly every travel blog about Tokyo. A mass of humanity there; hard to really see the temple. I could have done without it but realize that many tourists want to see this. The old Shinto Shrine visited in the morning is much, much nicer to see due to the larger grounds. Overall, though, a very good and worthwhile experience.

Yuki was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She met us at our hotel and took us in a taxi to meet the main group as our hotel was quite far away from the meeting point. The tour was informative and interesting and didn’t feel rushed. Yuki was very patient and answered all our questions. We covered a lot of ground which was great as we hadn’t been to Tokyo before. We didn’t have lunch and found a fabulous restaurant nearby. This was a great tour as an introduction to Tokyo - would recommend

The experience was very fulfilling although some time to look up the knives and kitchen ware would've been great. It is advised not to take this tour the day before you leave Tokyo because there is a lot to absorb. We got to see a Japanese wedding at the Meiji Shinto shrine. Yuki imparted lot of information and her vibrant energy sent out good vibes.
